INTERGREAT Lateral File Cabinet with 2 Drawer, 32" W Black Lateral Filing Cabinet with Lock, Metal Steel Black File Cabinets for Home Office

My wife was in need of a large 2 drawer file cabinet for her basement office/craft room. I looked at local stores, but they were much more expensive and too heavy to carry down to the basement. I after reading the review here, I ordered the 2 drawer vertical file. I arrived quickly, and wow, it was exceptionally well packed in lots of foam. The foam even had metal corner protectors on the outside to keep all the parts nice and safe. I unpacked it upstairs (packed so well, that this take about 15-20 min itself, then carried each piece downstairs.They use a very cleaver design, were all the parts are held together with tabs that you bend, and parts that clip into each other. If you can assemble medium to advanced Lego sets, you can do this with no problems; just carefully follow the pictures. You will need a standard size flat blade screw driver to bend some of the tabs. A rubber mallet will help too, to ensure the clip together parts are well seated. It took me about 45 min to carry the parts downstairs and assemble; but I am fairly mechanically inclined.Everything fit together exceptionally well; no seam gaps and perfect fitting drawers that slide nice and smooth, on ball bearing sliders. This was a pleasant surprise; as many assemble yourself things I have gotten from China before, have required "adjustments" to get all to fit. The cabinet even locks! I was going to post photos, but it looks just like the ones in their advert.So five star all around for the great cabinet

I wanted to replace two single file cabinets with this two-drawer cabinet. I am also able to place my printer on top so my office is much better organized.In order to assemble, it is important that you follow the directions they provide and you may also want to view You Tube videos - so the assembly process was good. You should have two people to assemble and provide support!

This file cabinet is decent enough but building it is a pain. Everything seemed to line up correctly but I constantly get a tight drag on the top drawer that screeches loudly. I am taking into consideration that I may have not built it perfectly. Overall, it fits in the space I measured well, is sturdy enough to hold stuff on top and looks nice.

I bought this product since it seemed sturdy and inexpensive enough. When I built the item, it took 3 hours to assemble and when I was finally finished building, I realized the locking mechanism was defective. The key they gave me does not work with the cabinet and the the drawers are locked shut and cannot be opened. The very last steps is assembling the drawers so you don’t figure out it’s broken until it’s completely built and assembled. I reached out to the seller to notify them of this issue and they told me to box the item up and ship it back to them?????? How can I box this super heavy and large filing cabinet COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED? They are refusing to help me unless I mail the item back which is impossible. Customer service is horrible and seems like a robot or offshore based system. They have no understanding of why mailing this back would be impossible. I can’t even disassemble it- the screws are all internal facing and the drawers won’t open!Save your money and time (and sanity) buy it at Walmart- it’s actually cheaper and better quality there. And at least you know they’ll help you if you have a problem. DO NOT buy from this seller!

First the arrival: The piece comes in a very sturdy packaging, one would try very hard to damage this in transport, the packaging is very well thought out. The cabinet arrives with locked drawers, and there is no key in sight...kind of. The key is behind the taped handle of the first drawer...once you remove the tape, the keys fall to the ground, the brief swell of frustration quickly vanishes.Setup: this is a quick 5-minute setup, you have to attach the wheels, which require just a couple turns of a Philips screwdriver. The main wheels come with their own small wrench.Design & Operation: Very modern, sleek design, I chose a color that went well with my décor, only the face is color, the rest of the cabinet is white. The cabinet rolls smoothly and without much effort. The drawers are full extension which gives you access to all those little things that wind up in the back of a drawer. It's spacious enough for any home office. The plastic key housing is a bit on the weak side, I could see this light plastic failing over time from daily use, I wont be locking my drawers on a regular basis, but if I did, this would probably lead to it breaking over time, it's very cheap plastic housing that folds the key when in storage.Overall: Very satisfied with my purchase, solidly built (with the exception of the key housing), attractive design. Great value for the price.

I normally don't get enthused about filing cabinets, but this one is very, very well designed. After two different purchases arrived damaged, I bought this one. It was clearly packed BY HAND, and could not possibly have gotten damaged. It is ROCK SOLID. The attention to detail is impressive, including a small wheel on the lowest drawer to keep it from tipping forward when all the drawers are open. It has fancy keys that fold up (it's easy on the pockets). It has lots of space and a pencil tray in the top drawer. The only thing I would change is that, because the drawers are one-inch too wide, letter-sized files only hang sideways (left to right) rather than front-to-back. Still, I plan to order another one of these and then see if they sell lateral files. It's very impressive.

The drawers assembled pretty easily, the company video has you screwing it all together. Old video the back and sidewall comes prepared. Waiting for feedback about not being able to finish assembly, as I am scared of the cost on two shipments to return

This has easy to follow instructions and sturdy construction. It works great for all my filling needs. I would recommend this to anyone with a home office.
