Super fast shipping. But, I bought the wrong one. Dumb on my part. It was kinda hard to open the iPod, though. Even with the tool. One of them broke. The price is not bad, in my opinion. It is, what it is.

The original battery on my old, 5th generation, 30GB, iPod classic wouldn't hold a charge anymore, making the iPod useless. I replaced the battery with the Upstart battery. So far it works great! I watched a handful of youtube videos on how to open the iPod and replace the battery. It was easy enough. The task only took about 10 minutes or so, after I watched the videos. My suggestion is to do it slowly and carefully. There's one ribbon cable under the original battery that you have to be careful of when you pry the battery from the adhesive that holds it to the back case cover. The battery ribbon cable is delicate so carefully insert it back into the jack when you finish.

I have an IPod classic and I was upset when it stopped holding a charge. I purchased this battery so I can use my iPod again. It works. Except the little blue tools they send you. Just throw them out. They are useless. I used a small tiny screw driver set to help open my IPod up. The battery fit perfectly inside the iPod. Did come with a little charge on it this helped a lot before closing up the iPod and hoping for the best. Would give 5 stars except the tools are beyond useless and can’t finish the job.

Tool's broke. Battery didn't last

The tools included are pretty useless and the lack of instructions made me rate it a 3 but you get what you pay for.... I successfully replaced by battery but accidentally severed the lock switch cable and cracked the screen. Clear instructions and better tools would have made this a 5 Star.

This battery worked perfectly for my iPod video. The battery life is amazing. Because the old iPods don't use much power, it lasted almost 2 weeks on a charge now.

Good battery; works right from the start when I popped it into place unlike the first battery I bought from another seller. I didn't need them, but the package actually comes with some instructions for people who aren't too tech savy. Battery gives me at least 5 hours of solid life when I make sure its charged to full.

All my tools broke before I got the iPod open. Battery is good though
