Solid Picks, Great Grip
I was looking for a pick with a beveled edge to complement my go-to picks: a 1.5mm Tortex Sharp and Dunlop's Flow Gloss (2.0 and 3.0). The White Fang at 1.14 was precisely what I was seeking. The textured grip is fantastic, both for playing fast riffs and flicking the pick under your finger for tapping and other dynamics. It's thin enough that it plays like a Fender Heavy for strumming or arpeggios and thick enough for speedy leads and sweeps. Sadly, Hetfield's furious downpicking speed will still have to be earned through a lot of practice, but at least with the White Fang, you can't blame the pick for not keeping up!

Wow
Wow These are phenomenal. It never occurred to me a pic could have such an impact. Grib, accuracy, tone and oddly enough...volume. As far as pics go, this is an impressive mofo. I can't fathom that there is a better pic out there. A tip of the cap to those responsible.

Great picks
I’m a life long guitar player and Metallica fan. The value for money is amazing here. They’re easy to grip and the durability is off the charts. The sound and tone both make my guitar sound come alive. I recommend these

This is a winner!
Why you ask? Well let's start with the hybrid thickness of 1.14mm. Thick enough to be stiff for aggressive attack while not feeling bulky. The pick tip is smooth with easy strike and release which allows for fairly effortless speed. Finally the grip surface is solid for keeping the pick right where I need it.

Chunky, but thin pick good for large hands
I have a tendency to sweat a lot, so I need a pick that has a gripping texture, and I also have large hands, so I tend towards larger picks generally. While I like the Kirk Hammet Jazz and Hetfield Black Fangs, I find that for my style of rock/metal, I prefer the shape and texture of White Fangs, even if the White Fang tin doesn't have a great design lol.

Good picks, wear down fast
These are solid for playing like Hetfield does, and they also are really easy to hold. They’re very accurate. The only negative is that they wear down really fast and they’re kind of impractical to buy a whole lot of them. My other tortex picks don’t get blunt as quick as these, but then again these picks also do a whole lot of downstrokes against the thicker strings so I guess it’s to best expected. All around, 4/5.

Maxed out Max-Grip
These are great. Essentially a Max-Grip 1.14mm with slightly larger sides, coming to a slightly sharper point. It's perfect for riffing.

Great Pick--ahhh!
A friend recommended me this because I'm a huge fan of the Dunlop Flow 1.0 mm, which is the same pick but in red and no grip. The grip on this feels just about perfect and I wish the regular flow had it too. I still like my Dunlop Flow best because it feels stiffer and smoother on the strings but this thing is really great, especially for chugging heavy riffs, which is no surprise. Yeaaaahhhaa!

This is my new favourite guitar pick. For years I used the Tortex TIII and Ultex Sharp picks for electric and Max grip nylon picks for acoustic. The flow shape took me a long time to get a long with me trying various gauges, jumbos and materials. I always dug and used the Hetfield Black Fang picks on and off. One of my students got these as a gift and brought them to lessons and let me try it and it was instant connection to my playing. It’s made of ultex, it’s got the sharp/TIII tip, it’s got the max grip texture. I love that it’s white, easier to see on dark stages or black cases and gig bags. It’s a sharp tip with a beveled knife edge so the pick is fast and lets you really dig it. It’s the best of all my favourite pick all molded in to one perfect pick. Playing with any other pick feels weird now.

+ The Rick Astley of picks. It will never give you up no matter how fast you're downpicking. The grip is the most secure I've felt. Its noticeably light. I prefer something slightly more substantial but it might be great depending on preference. I can't become friends with the bevel on this. Can't get a good tone or attack. Its more of a niche pick I'd say, perfect for the right guy. Try before your buy since these aren't cheap far as picks go.
