Lambro Silver 8' 6-inch Diameter Flexible Semi-Rigid Aluminum Duct (306)

For the past 30 years, I've used insulated ducting thinking it was more economical to keep the furnace heated air hot to the adjoining mobile home. I was very wrong. Rodents would chew through the plastic of the insulated ducting which let much of the furnace heat blow under the home rather than into the room it was intended to heat. Once I ran out of the large quantity of that insulted ducting, I gave in and forfeited the insulation to purchase these ducts. Probably the best decision I've made regarding my heating in those 30 years. I expect these ducts to last the next thirty years. I had this ducting installed last winter. It has now been a year since these were installed under my mobile home. For the first time in decades, I haven't had rodents chew through my ducting and running up and down the main vent. I am impressed with the quality of the aluminum used. (It doesn't appear to be porous or have voids.) I also found the corrugation to make the flexibility feature just right for the 90 degree turns I needed to make. The size is accurate and the duct fit easily over the mating parts.

Should have started project with this before wasting money on metal duct. Very easy to work with and solid material.

This product arrived early and the packaging was very well.the price was my main motivator. I bought this for a grow tent i did not realize how ridged these are totally not what i need with that said its not a bad product but if your looking for something that bends easily this is not it it is also loud when using ducting fan so if this your intention i would say try something a little lighter not a bad product quality construction just not what i needed my mistake not the companies.i ended up using this for a bathroom project i did and it worked beautifully for that project It was easy to work with and cut very easily as well as retains its shape nicely.it is very durable and lightweight and easy to work with if you are using this in this type of fashion i would definitely recommend.

Work perfectly for my application.

Did not attach to several of the 6" fittings I tried sliding it on to. And did not stretch to its stated length - kept breaking apart if stretched. And extremely difficult to cut, just kept unraveling. Save your money.

Fits well. Pretty flimsy. Be careful when expanding or bending it.

This product is flexible but not nearly what you expect when you hear the word flexible. Do not expect to be able to 90 on to your dryer. It will just bend and crease. Do it right and but 90 elbows that are rigid. The use this to do a straight connection to the 90’s. Four stars because this is much better than the old accordion style aluminum foil lined exhaust systems you see in place in many homes today.
