I love how easy the plug-and-play installation was on this remote starter. The only thing that required a bit of extra work was one wire, but it was easy to locate and attach. Once set up, the three-time lock feature with the OEM fob works wonderfully, and the remote starter has been super reliable. It’s been a great addition to my Ford Transit, and I’ve had no issues with it since installation. If you're looking for a hassle-free remote starter, this one is definitely worth considering!

Quick and straight forward install. Video was helpful pre planning I installed on a 19 transit and it was very easy to get everything apart 2 things to watch for 1.) make sure the lock module is plugged in as stated in other reviews it comes in an anti static bag I overlooked it at first quickly realized when nothing happened what I had done wrong. 2.) MAKE SURE all plugs are secured. I plugged into my ignition switch and thought it was good to go. Remote start worked out key in hit brake van died, trouble shooting for a minute when I telescoped the steering wheel it started working then stopped. Root cause was I didn’t have the plug securely fastened like I thought I had causing it to pull out of the connector slightly. Fixed that issue and works great. Highly recommend knowing this I’d buy more moving forward no problem this is a must have for cold winter morning.

My radio stays on after I remove the key and open the door. Made my front turn signals and power windows not work. 0 stars. Do not buy u less you want your vehicle to have electrical problems. 👎

I installed this in my 2016 transit 350 HD, the install was not bad at all took me about 40 minutes and it was up and running. the running lights DO NOT come on when you use the remote start so if you're not near you can't tell if the vehicle is running, this unit does have a ground trigger so you can use a relay and diodes to wire up the parking lights to come on for less than $10 but you really need to know your way around automotive wiring and get your vehicles wiring diagram to know what wires to tap into if you want to have a visual sign of when its running again you really need to know your way around your cars wiring

Their website sent me to amazon for the remote start and mobile add on module for a 2018 Ford Transit 150. Their remote start is NOT plug and play IF you plan on using the mobile app. Their customer service sucks. As of right now I have never heard from them when I asked why the carlink module will not unlock or lock my doors. Come to find out this kit does not even have the wires for lock and unlock. Luckily they sent hood pin wires with the correct ends to fit in the main harness plug. You need to take one of the brown hood pin wires and plug it into A5 and take another brown hood pin wire and plug it into A19 on the main white harness. those wires get hooked to the BCM. 12vsolutions has a video on youtube that shows where to hook it up on the BCM. Fortin makes the start-x remote start. Go to Fortin website and look at the EVO-ALL wiring schematic and that tells you what pins to use. It took a lot of research to make this work and Smart-X has TERRIBLE customer service and DO NOT believe that this is plug and play if you want to use the long range remotes or the mobile app. They do not tell you this. If you want to use the factory remotes to start your transit then it will work. BUYER BEWARE before you buy. Once again - THIS IS A WIRE STRIPPED DOWN FORTIN EVO-ALL remote start

I bought this for my mother in law and she absolutely loves this!! It’s perfect for her van because she has 7 kids at home and the youngest is 3! Now she won’t have to worry about it being cold or to hot since she can start her van from her house so it can get warm or cool!!

Kit was pretty straight forward to install flooring instructions, BUT, neither video or paper instructions mentioned installing/plugging in the little computer chip with red led light on it. If you do not install that supplied chip item, it will not work. Was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions, just took a wild guess and plugged it in and now it works.

I just installed it and work good but need time to figure out the adaptr because of the bad instructions video they put on amazon and their website. They really need a professional to post new instructions installation

Excellent product, the only thing that I wished was better explained in the video and or instructions was that two keys are required to do the programing. But once I figured it out. Everything worked as described. Very easy to install. You only have to tap into 1 wire.

I texted text support and they got back to me within 5 minutes. Very helpful since I think the instructions should be better and should add a video of installation. Product works great and I don't need a second remote on my key chain.

First time doing anything like this. Install was very simple. So glad I treated myself to this!

The actual components as stated in user manual were not included in the kit. Instruction was limited and not recommended for a DIY. Had to create my own elements to have the 3x lock function to work
