Purchased for my nephew, well exceeded expectations
Built a Windows 7 x64 Ultimate system for my nephew around this chip and a Gigabyte GA-B85N Mini-ITX motherboard.PROS:-Inexpensive, only $44 on sale, wow! We had a limited budget so buying this chip makes sense, with the capability of upgrading later to a much faster (and hopefully then "older" and cheaper) CPU.-Fast, capable of booting (along with a quality SSD) in a handful of seconds.-Graphics are more than adequate to play Minecraft 1.7.9, even at 1080p w/highest detail settings achieving about 70-90 frames per second. Other older games like Swat 4 play flawlessly. I was worried about the graphics on this chip and there wasn't a lot of information online, but it did very well.CONS:-Power consumption a little high at 53w considering there are more powerful models with the same TDP.

Amazing functionality and speed for around $50 processor.
With intel HD graphics, PC Mark8 and 3DMark cloud gate scored it as same level as 2013 Office PC .3D Mark firestrike scored it somewhere around 300, very poor.Also good enough to use with world wide telescope from Microsoft Research.

Really fast cpu. The integrated GPU is enough to play games and watch HD movies. I am content.

Good CPU
It's often difficult to go up in price to get something faster. With an inexpensive video card, you can find enough high quality entertainment for a lifetime.

One with Win 7 Pro 64bit running SQL server 2008R and it runs pretty good. I used the other as a replacement ...
I used this chip in a few ShuttleDS81's. One with Win 7 Pro 64bit running SQL server 2008R and it runs pretty good. I used the other as a replacement G1820 running is a DS81. It was not performing well with the G1820 but it perked up with the G1850.

A bit sluggish but it will get you there.
Seems to do ok. The issue I'm having is with stuttery playback of Windows Media Center recorded television files. I purchased this to build a Windows 7 HTPC to replace my Gaming/HTPC rig that I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 for gaming only. Never any playback issues with the gaming box. Not sure if it's the Celeron processor or the video card. Otherwise, most other programs run with no problem.

Amazing value.
Amazing performance in a small package--unfortunately doesn't seem to support 1600mhz ram. If you under clock the ram and give tighter timings this works fine with 1333, 1400 ram frequency.

An amazing starter CPU!
An amazing value. Combined with the fact that it is an LGA 1150 socket. It's the perfect CPU for planning to upgrade later!
