MilkaBiscuit Cake, Soft Sponge with Chocolate Chip and Milk Chocolate Filling, 175g

l was surprised hen l opened the Amazon box , the packaging of this product was a large size - , with 5 slices each raped in sealed foil. When l opened one of the sealed foil with a slice of cake in it lt taste very European but l dislike the hard slices of hard rock like chocolate pieces in it (to me the chocolate is dry , hard and l spat this out) as the combination of the hard rock pieces of milk chocolates does not gel well with the soft cake taste...When you buy this product - l suggest you unwrap each of he 5 slices of cake and warm them up in the micro oven for about 1 mins to melt the interior of the slices of cakes filled with the rock hard milk choc pieces- then the combination ,put the slices of cake slices into a micro wave to melt the milk choc for a softer feel to your palette. Otherwise its a good quality product and it taste so delicious - l repeat my purchase again.It makes a nice gift as well.

Got these on a wimp to try, but was expecting the worse. I was pleasantly surprised after opening them and was happy to be wrong.They are just perfect little treats that can't be improved in my opinion. Nice and soft with just the right about of chocolate, you can't go wrong in buying these.

Lovely cakes to have as snack all individually wrapped in foil for freshness. Not always easy to buy, so stock up when it's in stock.

Lovely individually wrapped cake bars, they have chocolate chips and a soft chocolate centre.The cake is moulded to look like a chocolate bar and can be broken into small pieces easily.They taste lovely, it’s hard just to eat one and not go back for more though.Good price.Hope you found my review helpful

Great like individually wrapped cakes perfect for children’s lunch boxes

Very impressed with these for just a pound a pack! 5 individually wrapped cakes of a decent size. I'm not a soft chocolate fan and was glad to see the soft centre isn't quite as large as pictured, which suits me fine! Includes plenty of firm chocolate chips in a light sponge. Ideal for a quick snack and stay fresh once opened due to the individual wrapping.

Everyone was raving about these and reviews were really good.I and my daughter have a weakness for cake and chocolate so thought be nice treat to have for us.The day they arrived we put kettle on and decided Have morning treat.They come in biscuit type packaging and each cake is individually wrapped,they are I would say 3/4 bite treat.We opened with anticipation and both took a bite and both instantly looked disappointed.The cakes seemed dry and quite heavy.The cake itself isn’t very sweet but the chocolate although nice ‘I love milka chocolate’ seemed kind of thick and cloying.It tasted like a long life processed heavy cake,which I guess we shouldn’t have been so surprised about as that’s what it is.I did eat the rest of my cake and washed down with coffee but it didn’t improve in taste.I guess it is a taste thing though as there are lots of people who do rave about them.My husband ate the rest off our packs and although they weren’t a favourite he said there edible and ok. Edit I read reviews saying these should be warmed in microwave so decided to try again with one more pack.We warmed in microwave but sadly they didn’t taste any better 😕 they weren’t as dry but still felt heavy and left strange dry feeling in mouth, like peanut butter can is best way can describe.They tasted very processed and kinda stale.Warming made them less palatable for us and was tempted to knock rating to 2 stars but taste is a very personal thing and it seems warming improves taste for some.

Absolutely delicious. This cake is as close to a masterpiece as you can get. The chocolate chips provide an added depth to the taste, soothed by the chocolate sauce in the middle. The texture of the cake is soft, with a vanilla undertone that complements the chocolatey aspects.Although the cake is the size of a cake bar, it may as well be considered an amuse-bouche, as it certainly leaves you wanting more.
