ELEMIS Body Detox Skin Brush - Exfoliating Body Brush

What an amazing brush! My skin is so soft after using it. Highly recommend.

My naturopath recommended to do a dry body massage with a natural body brush to increase blood and lymph circulation. All natural brushes I found in stores are way too soft and loose bristles within a month of use and gets even softer with each use. Not expensive (~ $20) but I end up buying new each month. Did some search on-line and elemis brush came up. It was the most expensive on the market ($60), but the reviews were great, so I got it. Use it now for 6 months. First couple weeks the massage was quite painful, as the brush, made of cactus fibber, is extremely firm. Then the skin got use to it and now the dry brush massage is the part of my regular morning routine . The brush doesn’t lose any bristle and stays as firm as it was on day one. After regular use my skin became very smooth and silky, even some spider veins start disappearing. Very high quality product. Highly recommend.

I especially like using it on my back. I like bathing instead of showering. So I will use this before taking a bath. It feels good on my skin. It was a good purchase.

RETURNED THIS ITEM. HANDLE IS TOO SHORT TO REACH LOWER BACK, ETC. BRISTLES ON THE BRUSH ARE RIDICULOUSLY TERSE...TOO INTENSE FOR SKIN. NICE PACKAGING, RECEIVED ITEM TIMELY....BUT.....?

Never heard of the body brush until I had a spa treatment body wrap done. My technician used this exact brand of brush on my body before spreading the body mask. She told me lots of good things about the dry brushing that I looked it up on the internet. I was sold! I have been using the brush every morning before shower for a month now and have noticed my skin is much more tone and my cellulite on my thights has gone down. I have also noticed my body feels internally cleansed. I dont' feel as bloated with all the toxins. Dry Brushing helps move the lymphatic system. Lots of benefits and good investment.

I saw these in a recent magazine saying that Miranda Kerr recommends using this to get rid of some obvious cellulite when going to the beach as a temporary fix. Trust me this works like a charm! If you want to temporarily get rid of some of your cellulite this brush will help to diminish the hated dimples in your thighs and butt. Just gently brush from the back of the knee to the top of your bum for about two minutes on both sides to disguise any signs of hideous cellulite and if possible go and use a caffeine infused body scrub in the shower to continue to help circulation after the brushing to get even greater results.

I was introduced to the Elemis dry brush while on a cruise ship. I'd never heard of dry brushing until then. The experience was invigorating, and it left me feeling relaxed. I couldn't afford the brush at the time, so I was so happy to find it on Amazon for less than the cruise ship price. The brush arrived with the brush head, the wooden handle and cloth bag. I like the fact that I can remove the handle and use the attached cloth band if needed. It takes a little getting used to the harsh cactus bristles at first. With continued use, you get used to it. I took away 1 star due to the smell after washing the brush. There is a strange "corn-chip" smell afterwards. I tried soaking the brush and letting it air dry, but that odor is still there. It may go away with time, but overall, I love my brush. I don't know if it affects the tone of my skin, but my skin is softer after brushing and showering.

Absolutely the best dry body brush on the market, in my opinion. For those reviewers that complained of mildew etc. Please note that these are natural bristles, never designed to touch the water. This is a brush for pre-shower detox. If you are an experienced dry body brusher and want to take it to the next level, this is the brush for you!! My whole family uses them and I can't rave enough about the skin benefits, plus it's way less expensive than the $55 I paid for my first one of these at my local spa.
