OTC (7654A) Serpentine Belt Installation Tool

This is a simple tool but it's an absolute lifesaver in tight engine bays. Many factory service manuals actually advise installation of the serpentine belts from the bottom of the car due to clearances and this tool generally allows you to do it from the top. I recently used this on a very tight german engine bay with outstanding results. It's made in USA and it's very affordable. It works just as well as the MAC tools version I'm used to but at half the price. A no-brainer!

Not sure how I managed so long with out this tool. Helps in guiding drive belts onto pulleys in tight engine bays. Very well made tool. Note: There is an older version of this tool; part number 7654. It only has 2 prongs. This version sold by amazon is 3 prongs and the one you want. Part number 7654A

The perfect tool for manipulating belts in tight engine compartments. No longer have to burn and injure my hands and arms while routing belts around pulleys in engine compartments that were never designed with mechanics in mind. Made in USA makes it even better.

When the package arrived, I told my wife she could or open it. She knew I was ordering a lot of tools, so she asked what it was. I told her I paid 18 something dollars for it, and that it was a mechanics back scratch. She almost beat me to death with it. Lol. Works fine

If you changing out your belt with very little room to work with and don't want scraped knuckles or have huge hands like me then is the tool for you this tool help me alote when I changed out my Serpentine belt Idk about the price it a little to expensive for a stick but did help me out alot but I don't know what else I can use this tool on its up to you

I've removed many belts since I bought it and this tool is amazing. It has saved me time and frustration along with bumps and scratches on my arms and hands.

Kind of dissapointed in otc on this one. Delivered and the handle is already bent. The handle looks kind of cheap like one you can buy from the auto parts store...

Great tool. Had one for years. Lost mine in a fire and couldn’t do without it. Makes belt installation a breeze. Especially while trying to unload a spring tensioner.

This tool is really a big time saver for any automotive serpentine belt installation. Most of the time, there is very limited space for your hands to get in between the pulley’s and the right side of your engine bay. This configuration is found on many (all) transversal FWD cars and SUV’s. This tool used with the appropriate tool to release the tensioner’s tension will save you a lot of time. I have use it countless times on many Models of Ford, Kia, Toyota and others. It will save you (not always) from crawling under the car to install your serpentine belt.
