I purchased four sets of this chain several years ago, replacing a more typical and uninteresting copper continuous-chain design. They look great and, more importantly, they work well and have held up remarkably well over time. When I first got them, I was surprised by the package of individual disks that needed to be assembled, but they all went together quickly and easily and the interlocking disk design really channels the water no matter how fast the rate of flow. It is important that the chain be anchored at ground level to something. In my application, They are attached to the drain covers that carry the water away from my house.

Building the chian was super easy. I didn't expect to have to put it together, it looks cool. Haven't gotten a hard enough rain to see how they function yet. But I have the coolest gutters in the holler now lol I like it

Easy to install. Had it up in minutes. And looks good. I planned on including a video so people can see what it looks like with water running down but the fool I am I had my phone set for photos and not videos so I hope for those interested you can answer your questions with the photo.

The finish product itself is very nice. Seems to be light gauge aluminum and painted. Paint scratches off pretty easy. Time will tell how the sun will detiriorate the paint. You need patience assembling this Rain Chain. Every single loop must be weaved until you reach your desired length. I suggest that you see the short video on their website for instructions because the paper version that comes in the box is not very good. I'd say under 30 minutes and both my chains were assembled and installed. It would be nice for the product description to state exactly all the assembly that is required as it only states "Some hand assembly required". That some is a whole lot more than you would think. Definitely buy the Rain Chain Gutter Installer because the hook that this comes with will not work very well in my opinion. Thankfully I ordered them :).

Beautiful design, easy to install and very functional! Love the look. Better thanan ugly down spout. Liked it so much we bought another.

This is my second purchase of these chains. I use for a decorative effect. Love them. Quality is good. Assembly required but actually easy and fun to piece together and just takes a couple minutes. Love these things!!!

First I'll start by saying that I knew the drop for this was closer to 11 1/2 feet and it may have performed better if I ordered a second kit but I didn't. But now that we are going into the second summer with this rain chain it's time to find something different. Pros: Easy to put together Neighbors loved the look Cons: Way too light weight. Even the slightest breeze flips it around. It probably spent more time wrapped around the stair rail than hanging straight down. The powder coating started scratching as I was putting the unit together. A lot of the color has faded or rubbed off. It just doesn't work that great. I used the included piece to attach the chain to the gutter but more rain just drips out of the opening on the gutter than actually comes down the chain.

These chains were not too difficult to assemble, although they do ship completely in individual parts. Only took me 5 minutes and three beers. Also, a short trip to the ER. But that was her fault, not mine, and I'm sticking to my story. They were easy to hang from gutter after I removed the downspout and threw it in my neighbors yard, although I do recommend the additional accessory to mount inside the actual gutter. Also, I did use some silicone caulk in the gutter to seal in the mount because before I did that, the water just poured out everywhere. Afterwards, it did peacefully cascade down the chain all the way to the ground. In heavy rain, all hell breaks loose, but to be quite honest, who the hell is in their yard during a heavy rain storm anyway, watching the dangling chains of oppression contain the nourishing water of life from splashing wherever the universe has intended. In all, I did find this to be a very nice purchase. Don't expect it to bring you to Nirvana, but it's better than some crappy downspouts.

Hab mir diese Regenkette gekauft da sie ein interessantes Design hat und vom Preis noch nahewegs okay und nicht völlig übertrieben teuer ist. Die Glieder sind tatsächlich alle aus Aluminium, gut verarbeitet und selbst die Pulverbeschichtung ist ohne Maken und gut. Kann ich empfehlen auch wenn sie nicht gerade günstig ist

Coloque la cadena para reciclar agua de la caída de agua de mi zotea y esta la puedes utilizar para lavar y/o si tienes un perrito puedes usar el agua para limpiarle, una caída de agua sin salpicaduras y directo al desagüe o un recipiente para re utilizar
