LOONGSWORD Han Jian Chinese Sword – Hand-Forged High Carbon Steel Blade, Full Tang Martial Arts Jian with Alloy Fittings, Wooden Scabbard – Collectible Sword for Display & Training

After first ordering this piece over a month ago I was surprised when it said it would only take two weeks to arrive. Though, that surprised soon turned into disaster after UPS didn’t deliver the package correctly. But through excellent customer service. I was resent the package with no extra money out of my pocket and after it finally getting here I can safely say the wait was beyond worth it. This is officially the best piece in my collection and I can’t wait to add more. It’s just as good looking in the pictures and was packaged securely. I will definitely be buying again in the future.

Blades cool but the sheathe scratched it up and ruined alot pf the design on the blade. The sheathe completely ruins the actual sword wich is a bummer.

This is a very looking sword but it has 3 flaws. #1 there are two 1 inch hair thin scratches on the blade. One scratch is above the other scratch. #2 there is a grind line above the original grind line and they did try to blend it in with the original grind line but I noticed it because it is wider than the original grind line. #3 the fittings are not on so evenly, like the top pamel is on like it was cross threaded on, and the bottom fitting is not fitting evenly on the scabbard/sheath it is glued on with some kind of silicone glue it was showing but it was easy to remove the access with my finger because it was kind of like flexible you can take a sharp object and remove the rest of it but I do not want to scratch up the wooden sheath/scabbard. It is longer than stated on Amazon the blade is 28 and 7/8 in Long it really looks nice I am still thinking about keeping it because I can return it they would not do an exchange they will just refund me and I can buy a another one but it may come with the same flaws or it may come with a lot more different flaws so why take the chance right I mean you have to be really looking at it close up to notice these flaws but they're they're just from me checking this sword out. #4 the bottom of the blade rattles a little bit inside the scabbard / sheath it's not annoying it's not like I'm going to be carrying it it's just going to be on display in the house somewhere and it's not really really loose but it's there so that is why I give this three stars. I'm still on the decision floor about returning it, but it was at the time of purchase $165 plus 8% tax, you can get them on another selling website but you will have to wait a month to 2 months and then it may come with some really defects and you have to pay to return it to the seller in China and the seller in China they know this so they more than likely will send you a defective one that didn't come out so good because you have to pay to return it so that is why I bought this from Amazon yes they're much cheaper on the other website by 50 bucks but if it's not the way you want it to be loose blades rattling etc you have to pay to return it buyer pays for return shipping that is a no no for me.

First time buying a sword as decorative as this, and I was pleased. The blade was oiled and the scabbard had no scratches or damage. The weight was fair and after a few test swings, I was glad that there was no hint of falling apart. I'd buy from this provider again in the future. I ordered a week before Christmas and it came JUST on time. Thank you. 5 Stars.
