i love love LOVE these pimple patches! i am a big fan of Hero Cosmetics and all of their products in general, but these large pimple patches are one of my ultimate favorites! i do use them on my face as well, but i highly recommend these if you are looking for pimple patches that work well on the body (chest, back, etc.). i struggle with clogged pores on my chest area, and these have been a game changer. i mostly use them to suck out excess oil and gunk, which it does SO well. these patches are great for oil buildup or generally clogged pores, so they’re nice for more than just pimple breakouts! the patches can be easily cut into different sizes, which i would recommend doing before removing the patches from their protective plastic film (otherwise the scissors can get stuck to the adhesive side of the patches). these patches are incredible durable and i have never once experienced them falling off or becoming flimsy. they are super sticky and hold well, but are not at all painful to remove, even on sensitive skin. the patches are relatively clear so they aren’t overwhelmingly noticeable on your skin (but i definitely wouldn’t expect them to be invisible lol). you can tell how effective the patches are at sucking out gunk from your skin by seeing how much of the white-ish gunk the patch has absorbed. it’s especially nice because i can tell if certain spots need an extra patch for any remaining oil/gunk, and after reapplying, you can see how much was removed the second time around! while these patches may be a bit pricy, i will never recommend any other patches over these, simply because of how effective, adhesive, and durable they are compared to other options. i’ve tried other brands, but none have even slightly compared to how well these work. i HIGHLY recommend for anyone who is debating between these and any other option.

Update Feb 2025: I have been using these patches consistently over the last few years since my OG review. My chin area continued to clear and the episodes of breakouts became more & more spaced out and less severe. Just the other day I was removing a maintenance patch & realized that hey, I haven't had any breakouts or blemishes for over a year with the exception of a teeny, tiny isolated spot once or twice. I can guess what everyone must be thinking and I know...I can't friggin' believe it either!! It's taken me years to get here. This product was the turning point to finally getting & keeping my skin clear for the first time in what has felt like an eternity. I'll never stop using these. If you're reading this Hero Cosmetics, thank you so much. 🫶🏼 OG Review: I tried the spot treatment patches of this brand and I was blown away at how well they worked (reviewed separately). Decided to go for the larger patches to cover my entire chin area, which is prone to hormonal breakouts and specific "repeat" spots that I have battled for over 25+ years. These trouble spots are deep, painful, very noticeable and they take 3-5 weeks to completely go away. I usually get several at the same time. The only thing that has worked fast on these spots is cortisone shots from my dermatologist, but they can cause temporary scarring and the problem spots eventually reappear a year or so later. Enter Mighty Patch Surface. I wanted fast results (we all do with acne), but patience is what you need for these strips to work to maximum effect. What I noticed after 3 uses of these strips in the first week was that noticeable problem areas went away and started to fade, but new blemishes started to appear out of nowhere. I noticed alot of small bumps and pin-head size whiteheads across my chin that were never a problem before so I thought I was having a reaction to the strips. Then I thought about it for a bit and realized this is exactly what this product is supposed to do. I lightly ran an extractor over those new blemishes to open up the pores and clean them out and then put on more strips. These new areas all cleared overnight. I did this weeks 2-4. Fastforward to over a month later and my chin area is almost flawless. The trick......keep applying the strips as your skin starts to "release" all the hidden blemishes that you can't see. Yes, you might have a worse, temporary breakout as the patches pull the dirt to the surface and remove it, but don't give up. Push through it and over time, you will see less breakouts and less coming out on the strips as your skin clears. Now I use these strips about once a week and right when the monthly hormones like to kick in. I also use Formula 10•0•6 So Totally Clean which, for me, works great in combo with all of the Mighty Patch products. One other thing to keep in mind....my dermatologist told me deep/large blemishes sometimes have to be extracted/drained 2-3 times over several days as they tend to "refill" before they heal. For these really stubborn ones, I go back to using the tiny spot patches and I keep putting them on until the blemish flattens out and there's nothing on the patch when I remove it. It usually takes about 3-6 spot patches over a few days to really clean them out and it saves me from wasting the larger strips. So that's the trick I discovered.....just be patient and stay determined. I know this method may not work for everyone, but I hope this helps at least one person out there. I've battled breakouts my entire adult life and at times, it has completely bombed my self-esteem. For the first time in forever, all I see in the mirror is clear skin. Glad I took a chance on this line of products. I have finally found something that works!!!

the only thing is when taking it off it’s not necessarily gentle, like advertised, feels like a very sticky bandage getting caught on your peach fuzz/hair. but all in all, it does the job!
