T101C Center Channel Speaker - Black (Single)

Save your money by making sure you set the volume limit. The only reason I am enjoying this expensive great center speaker. Small was enough for my listening distence

Excellent sound great look.

Hung a tv on the wall, no wires, very clean. Big room made tv speakers inadequate. Wife was against a speaker cluttering up the clean look. Hung this speaker directly under the tv and wow, big sound. Wife even thinks it looks nice. Speaker is thinner than the tv mounted on the wall which makes for the clean look. Everyone is happy!

I expected more, but it is at least as good as my old JVC center speaker. I have JVC HLS tower speaker system. This is small and not conspicuous under my TV over the fireplace. My box JVC center is a great speaker but I could not put it under my TV. It is to big. This is a great size and looks like it is mounted in the wall, and for that reason it gets 4 stars.

Just what we needed. Center speaker with good audio but low profile.

Use as part of 7.1 surround sound system. Great center speaker, surprising the output and clarity.

The speaker's design is excellent. Super thin. Great sound too.

I bought this to fit into a kitchen cabinet that was only about 3" deep. It's hooked to an Apple Airport Express via a little tiny 90W amplifier, and it sounds pretty good. So, if you need good sound for music and the space is not deep and doesn't lend itself to stereo, get one of these and feed both left and right channels into it (I combined them before the amp and then used just one channel of it). Mono sound is underrated: unless you're listening from somewhere near the middle of two decently separated speakers, you're be better off with one channel of sound. Save stereo for the rooms in your house where good stereo sound is possible and likely.

I have the classic egg-shaped 2005 series from KEF. I decided to replace the centre channel because a) the T101C is shorter and doesn't block the remote control receiver of my TV and b) I wanted to upgrade the prominent centre channel. I am very pleased with the speaker after having used it for a month to ensure it is broken in. It doesn't sound out of place with the rest of my KEF satellites and it looks very nice. The stand has only two settings in terms of how angled it can make the speaker and the most tilted option was just enough for me. It is rubberized so it shouldn't damage the surface it is sitting on. I use banana plugs and the way the sockets for the wires are designed is that it is a very tight fit (see photos from online reviews). If your banana plugs are too long or too fat, they may not fit easily. I am using Sewell Deadbolts and they fortunately just barely fit (short enough, but a bit fat).
