Well made worked great.

I bought an Avalon Next Men's 26 inch 7 speed and it came with aluminum alloy wheels. One morning I tried to go over the wrong part of a curb and as a result my handle bars got turned all the way around and I fell off. When I got up and looked at the front wheel it looked like a pretzel! Upon removing the tire I found that not only was it bent, it was broken. This steel wheel seemed like an ideal superior, yet cheaper replacement. I've been riding on it for a couple of weeks now and I am impressed. The rim is a quarter of an inch wider than the old rim, but the old tire and tube worked fine. As expected, I did need to adjust the front brakes.

I bought a Huffy 3 speed cruiser to help get back into shape and after about 6 months of use, it developed a knock in the front wheel. I determined it was a faulty bearing so this was the best, cheapest replacement I could find. It came after several weeks and installation wise was pretty easy although I did have to come up with some extra washers for spacers since it didn't match exactly. But it was close enough. It has been on there a month now and seems to be standing up well. No wobbles or clunks. The wheel was true enough out of the box that I didn't need to make any adjustments. I went the suggestion to get a new rim strip and put it on first. No complaints!

Came exactly as described and mounted easily. Seems to be very good quality for a basic steel wheel. Spokes look strong, tire mounted easily and seems to ride true.
