Shurhold Serious Pad Cleaner - 12oz

Very effective. Much more effective than other methods I used to clean buff pads.

Purchased based on reviews, most of which were positive, but there were a few negative reviews. Mixed one scoop with 2+ gallons of warm water in a bucket and dropped in 4 wool bonnets. The dried compound literally melted out of the bonnets. Soaked for 30 minutes, agitated and worked the solution into the wool by hand. Rinsed thoroughly, spun them out on the polisher and then threw them in the dryer with some towels for 30 minutes. They are like new! Super impressed with the results and would highly recommend.

I always used a washing machine to clean the wax off of my polishing bonnets. Doing this was not really effective and I still noticed wax on the bonnets after a wash was done. I read about this product and with the positive reviews I purchased it. It worked really well after following the simple instructions. I bought a few extra bonnets so I could use them while the newly cleaned bonnets were air drying. I won't be doing washing machine cleaning again

Pad cleaner works pretty good at removing and dissolving wax and compound material from the pads. Only negative was I had to mix two batches to get pads really clean.

By far the best product I've used to clean my buffing pads. Soak for 15 minutes, rinse and it's like a new pad a good again.

Best way to clean your pads, hands down. Im a professional detailer and have tried several methods for cleaning my pads after my detail jobs. Nothing worked as well as the Shurhold Serious Pad Cleaner. Its very concentrated so you wont need very much per use. Just one scoop per gallon of water. You should use about 4 to 6 pads per car depending on the condition of the paint. So about 2 scoops in 2 gallons of water should be sufficient. I usually allow my pads to soak for about 15 to 30 min and simply massage each pad till i have worked all the product out. If you clean your pads right after youre done using them and you use this Serious Pad Cleaner product you can keep your pads looking and performing brand new. Take my word for it, this stuff rocks.

Bought this product to clean my Shurhold pads. I followed the instructions and had to repeat the process with some heavily soiled pads. Overall pleased with the results as this cleaner doesn't damage the pads. We'll see how it fares over time.

I had a couple of pads I thought I was going to throw away, cleaned them up and using them again. it sounded expensive but if I can prolong the life of my wool pads its saving me money Thanks Bernie!
