I bought these pins to make earrings with. Overall I really like the shade range they come in. It makes it really fun to match the earrings with a color to coordinate. It came neatly packaged in these little plastic bags so that nothing can spill out. The only weird thing I would like to mention, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that when emptying some of the bags I noticed these little things in it. It almost looks like the shell of some bird seeds or some other small plant material. It was a bit weird and made me think the pins were dirty!? It was only in like two of the bags but of course to ensure safety I sanitized all of the pins anyways. It wasn’t too much of a concern though because I would have sanitized them anyways. Just a weird thing I thought I should note.

the only criticism I have is they are shorter than I realized. I should have read that detail before buying Other than that they're perfect.

I was surprised to see small yellow pieces of unknown substances mixed in the individually wrapped packages of eye pins. At first I thought they were small yellow worms. Upon inspection, they appeared to be pieces of leaves or seeds. I just read another reviewer's comments detailing the same issue. The photos matched what I found. I am returning the item and will reorder in the hopes that the next package does not contain any unknown particles. Otherwise, it would be a good value.

Not only were the colors separated ,they were portioned. I was able to take one bag of the color needed for use keeping the rest tidy and secure in case of accidents.
