Gets the job done!
This is a great little heater. Ideal size and power for something you might want to keep under your desk or for a small room. It's quiet, compact and provides ample heat to keep you warm on those cold days. Build quality is good, cord is adequate in length, and with built in tip-over and thermal protection, it's a solid buy!

Small but mighty
This is a small but mighty little heater it heats a living room after only a few mins.. it's quiet, and powerful, it doesn't weigh very much.. it functions really well it only has one on and off switch so you can not control any of the settings it only has the option for on or off ..

Excellent heater!!
Small but mighty, little heater. Was kind of unsure about it when I first saw it. It’s great for under a desk or in a small room. Very quiet operation when you turn it on. Safety switch for any which way you tilt it over. I placed mine under my sit/stand desk at work mainly for cold feet. 😬 but the heat reflects off the desktop and makes the whole area warm and comfy. It works so well, we bought a second for the house. Low wattage so it won’t run up the bill nor over work the outlet. To be on the safe side, I unplug it after use so I don’t end up being “that guy” who caught the office on fire, leaving it unattended. Excellent purchase at an excellent price. Recommended.

Good deal
Although no settings, just on or off it runs efficiently and is a good choice for personal space heat. Decent heat output for 500w. Very portable light weight and it is relatively quiet.

(video) temperature measurement tests + noise level
So far I'm really liking this space heater. It's small enough to put on a desk and get a nice warm stream of air on a chilly day, whereas a larger unit would not fit. It's also just powerful enough that if left on in a room for an extended period it will take the edge off the chill, but even without a thermostat you won't have to worry too much about overheating. The noise level is significant, just as the noise level for most fans is significant. But it's a white noise sort of sound with a very faint hum, so it sounds pleasant enough to my ears that I don't mind. I can smell the heater but it's not overpowering. I love the automatic shutoff mechanism and the on-off switch in the back is welcome given that I don't want to unplug it all the time. (measurements in degrees Fahrenheit) I put the heater in my room (which is about 100 feet sqr, 9"x9") and left it running overnight, and I slept much better than normal because the temperature was much more pleasant - while the rest of the house was about 65 degrees, my room is now 74 degrees after reaching thermal equilibrium. In the immediate vicinity of the heater temperatures reach a 80 - 90 degrees. The plastic side of the heater was 83 degrees, below body temp so slightly cool to the touch, and the metal grill was 130 degrees, hot but if you accidentally touch it for a brief you won't get burned badly. I found it to be a very functional space heater with some nice safety measures and a great form factor.

Tiny 500 watt heater that looks more like a speaker.
I live in an area with very mild winters. I bought this little 500 watt heater because my existing 1000 watt heater was too powerful for my small bedroom, I couldn't even lie down and take a nap with it on because by the time I'd wake up, my room would be too hot. But with this new little heater, I can leave it running and take a nap, and my room feels just right when I wake up. For a heater, it is rather tiny, and it looks more like a speaker than a heater. It has a safety switch at the bottom that turns it off if it tips over. And a red status LED strip on the side when it is powered on. It is quiet. I'm surprised at how much plastic it's made out of, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. Been using it for about a week, for like 3 hours a day. And the price was great. I love it.

Perfectly good for a $20 simple device, I like it
This heater is perfect for what it is: Pros: - it looks good on my desk in white - it is quiet (but not silent) - puts out enough heat to warm my shed-office in the mornings - it put out heat within a few seconds - the metal surround does not get at all hot - all the heat goes forward - so you can pick it up to move it with no risk of harm - has a simple pressure switch on the bottom to avoid against it running while tipped over - I have it on a power monitoring smart switch which confirms it draws 500W as advertised Cons: - it is only 500W, about like a hair dryer on medium, if you have a large space to heat, have a cold room you want it warm very quickly this isn't for you. I sit it on my desk about two feet from me and run it for an hour before starting work to heat my 6x8 garden shed/office to about 70F. That's maybe $0.05 of electricity where I live. WFM. - its either on or off but given the medium output there's really no need for lower output settings - no thermostat so if you're running it in a tent as suggested in the description you may need to turn it on and off to avoid over heating, for about $20 you can get a adapter with a temperature probe to turn it on and off but then you might want to buy a different unit with it built in. I looked at the 1-star reviews and frankly other than the complaints about it failing (can't comment on reliability, I've had mine a week) they are ridiculous. - yes the front grill gets hot - unless you want something very different and larger there's no avoiding that, it's a heater! - plenty of appliances have two prong plugs and metal cases - if the case is electrically isolated there is no risk if used in accordance with instructions. It's ETL listed. This is not a wet location device nor should it be used in one or with wet hands, read the instructions. Do you use your hairdryer in the bath people? Don't! - the tilt switch is simple and I don't see any risk of it failing, so long as the heater is on a firm surface it is perfectly functional - read the description, this is 500W. It does not draw 15 or 20A to blast you with heat, if you have a large cold room to heat buy an appropriate device with more than 500W output - no it doesn't have a battery, if you want it in a tent you'll need to BYOB but it would need to be a big one - a 3kWh battery will run it continuously for about 6 hours (that should indicate the folly of thinking it would include a battery, it would be massive or last just minutes!)

Giving it 5 stars even though i had small troubles with it. Bought it for enclosure heating to print Polycarbonate. It worked for roughly an hour and wouldnt work anymore. I plugged it in multiple power sources and it still wouldnt work. 3 hours later after i was about to return it, it worked. So I kept it, cancelled the return and tore it apart and found the ambient temperature thermal safety switch and bypassed it. The unit is controlled by external termpature controller anyways. Works great now.
