2547 28 AWG Control Cable Copper Wire Shielded Audio Cable Headphone Cable Signal Line 2-core 10 Meter Black

Bought to use for extending pickup lead wires, and they worked great for that purpose. The shielding is just twisted wire, not foil lined, but that doesn't seem to have hurt anything - I hooked up the shield to ground, and the guitar I wired with this is very quiet; as quiet as any I have ever heard. I also ended up using this inside the body, since it made for a super slick/neat looking wiring job to just have single cables between the switches and such.Prior to this, I had used some very expensive name-brand wire that was garbage; much finer gauge, and would tear extremely easy. This stuff was quite sturdy, easy to handle, no issues.

3 stars. Insulation melts at low temp so soldering can be challenging.

I've used the 28/3 for several projects to wire up WS2811+12 addressable LEDs and other devices connected to an ESP32, no melting problems once I dialed back the temperature of my soldering iron.Now I needed the 28/4 for wiring up several I2C devices. I like the small diameter cable for my projects as it's easy to work with, makes wiring up the I2C bus (and other devices) a snap and is great for tracing out any problems. Would purchase again.

Not great quality wire. Constantly just breaks when I'm working with it and any time I go to solder a splice, the insulation melts immediately as I barely touch the soldering iron to the wire.Had hoped for something slightly higher quality at this price... Gotta give it some stars though because technically it DOES work. Just not great quality.

This stuff works great for making custom headphone and headset cables.

Looks like great cable. Good shield, decent tinned copper conductors from what i can tell as well. Would love to see this in larger spools.

I needed a flexible two conductor coaxial cable to do some guitar hookup. This fit the bill perfectly and the price and quantity were great too.
