Works as expected, but missing parts and size lower rating.
After receiving the product I was upset to see that it did not include the power adapter or the bag of stones that was supposed to be included in the box. Using AA batteries I set the fountain up and it worked well. I did not notice a loud sound from the pump as other reviewers have experienced. The fountain itself works well. It's smaller than I thought it would be and it's plastic design feels cheap but I haven't had any issues with its operation.

Awfully disappointing and it LEAKS!
AWFUL!!!! This fountain is tiny and it leaks from the base. Not worth the money at all. I am returning it ASAP. The leak continues no matter how much or how little water is in the fountain. Also, when it does run there is no sound of running water. The flow poor. One of the worst purchases I have made. Don't waste your money!

Dont waste your money
I wasn't very impressed with this fountain. After taking it out of the box there was a price tag that said $5! I spent over $20. Its made out of plastic and the pump is so loud. It overtakes the sound of the waterfall. The look of it is nice but everything else is bad!

Keep it clean, buy an adapter and it is wonderful!
I picked one up at Walgreens for 5$ and have been using it for 3 now. It has stopped working a number of times, however if you clean it with hot water (fill it and shaking it, repeat) it comes back to life. I bought an adapter for it on Amazon so it doesn't use up batteries and it work great! Just keep it clean. I actually have it at my work desk and fill it with left over bottled water when I can. The pump is a bit loud, but with the adapter the flow is strong. Keep yours clean, and don't give up on if it stops. A great 5$ spent!

Love my little fountain!
I have one of these on my desk at work. The sound of the water is very relaxing background noise. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and the battery life has been fine. I'm very happy with it.
