My 6 year old son absolutely loves this! He's so creative and loves to draw and do his own stories with this. Great little starter pack and many of his friends have asked for one too.

My son loves this. He's obsessed with flip books. Even though we've now used up all the clips and paper, he still uses the light pad for tracing. My only critique is the light pad has a very short cord which limited where he could use it.

You get lots included in this set and it’s great for a beginner. The light pad is easy to use and works well. Plenty bright enough for the purpose. My only gripe is that it is impossible to unscrew the flip books that come with the set so they cannot be used as required. It makes the whole thing redundant as it’s near impossible to create the flip book properly using the light pad whilst it’s in one piece. Be prepared to buy replacements if you experience the same.

This set has been easy to use. It was a gift for a 12 year old who loves to draw. They’ve found it easy to use and the light box has been very useful. The refill packs will be on my list next

Nice to get the kids to do something artistic. Simple to do and very effective my kids had hours of fun creating flip books

It looks like the sort of thing my grandson would like in his Christmas stocking. He loves drawing and animation so who knows, it may be something that might lead to a career for him in the future. Next Walt????

I got this flipbook drawing set for my 5 year old granddaughter and I have to say that she wasn't particularly impressed. To start with, there are no actual instructions in the box (apart from a small instruction sheet which tells you how to charge and turn on the light box), so we had to search online to see what the set actually does. It seems that the light box shines through the paper so that you can trace one image onto another. However the 3 flipbooks supplied have quite thick paper so it's not as easy as it sounds to see the lines through it. Also we had problems unscrewing the flipbooks with the tool supplied (the screws just kept turning around without actually unscrewing). There are no clips supplied to hold the paper onto the lightbox so they slip easily and it's not easy for little fingers to hold the paper and draw at the same time. There are a few basic colouring pencils, a couple of lead pencils, a cheap eraser and sharpener supplied. She had never done a cartoon flipbook before so it took a bit of explaining to see how it works and I don't think she was prepared to put in a lot of effort for such a small reward. The light box only works if kept permanently plugged into the mains so it's no good outdoors. Basically I would say that this set is a bit of a novelty and not really suitable for children under 7 years old.
