Better than other brand
Much better than the Sporteer brand. Nice long straps; can be strapped together to make a weight to be worn around your waist if desired. Good quality. No sand leakage. Very easy to use.

Size is too large when some weights are removed.
Leg weights with some weight sleeves removed does not make for a snug fit...especially if you have small ankles. I was able fix problem by moving strap clamp rings back onto the other loop so that I could wrap the Velcro for a snug fit. Items were built with good materials and quality stitching.

Excellent Customer Service
I purchased these ankle weights for home therapy following a foot injury. The ankle weights met my needs. Others have commented on the velco strength. Yes, the velcro is a little strong but that was fine with me. I like the ability to add weights as my therapy allowed. After a period of time I misplaced a couple of the 1 pound weights. Upon contacting the seller I learned the weights were not available separately. However, the seller most generously offered to send me replacement ankle weights as I had originally ordered at no cost to me. I think this is exceptional customer service, and I highly recommend this seller.

The velcro strapping setup is too complicated and takes too much time to get ready.
UPDATE – Today (1-2-2024), I figured out how to use the two straps on the news set of ankle weights so they'd work. Now, I think one strap is much easier to use. It took me longer with more difficulty to use the two straps properly, even after I taught myself how to use them the right way.Since the old ankle weight set’s single straps wore out, I've had time to think about the two choices (one strap vs two). I used the first set of weights with one strap for more than 20 years, and I should have bought a new set with one strap. Still, at the time, I didn’t know one strap was faster and easier to use than two, and at 78.4, I doubt I’ll be around in twenty years to turn 98.4, and find out which product lasts longer. My recommendation: get an ankle weight set with one strap. And I’m not going to throw the old set out yet. I’ll keep trying the new, double strap set for a while to see if I get used to it and can speed up the time it takes to strap them on each ankle before I make up my mind.ORIGINAL REVIEW (a week old) starts here:The reason I bought this weight set is because the velcro on my old set wore out and stopped sticking. The old set had one long strap that took no learning curve to figure out when it was new.I thought this new set with two straps might work better and last longer. Now I'm thinking I made a poor choice. The first time I used this set a few minutes ago, I had to stop my exercise routine and get needle nosed pliers from the garage to pull the velcro loose. Then after wasting time to figure out how the straps were supposed to work, and not wanting to waste more time, I twisted the straps at the base, so I could easily attach them to the other side of the velcro, in a similar method that my first set of ankle weights used with one strap. That did not work. While exercising, this set was too loose and slid down to my knees. I cannot recommend this product unless you are already familiar with it and know how the straps are supposed to work. That means if I keep this set, I have to figure out how the velcro strapping was designed to be used so it works.I'm a firm believer in making stuff easy and this set failed my easy test. I do not recommend this product for that reason for someone who hasn't used this brand before.
