Full of good info
This is a great source of information. If you're unfamiliar with what you are working on this book will walk you right thru it.

At best: decent, at worst: decently helpful
Good manual but leaves a lot to be desired. I have the FSM for the 2001 Tacoma, and way, way better than this but it was also $500 for volumes 1 & 2. So that's why I'm going four instead of 3 stars. It is decent, however, they are too general with the different models and trims. It will show a pic of a 4Runner then later in the sequence a taco, then a t100. The General maintainence is very good and the basics too. In depth, it leaves a lot more vague information that can have you guessing. It gives great info on how to change a timing belt, but crummy info on, say how to remove a grill or replace light bulbs and head lamps. Bottom line: if you don't have or can't borrow or buy a $500+ FSM, yeah it is at best and worst, a decent buy. It has its credits and deficiencies but definitely better than nothing.

Never opened
Haynes has always been a good go-to for the automotive DIY guy. They never have great detail but there is usually enough information to help you get the repair done. I just bought this as a backup in case YouTube didn’t have video instruction on what I might need to do. This is also a good source for torque ratings and liquid capacities when in a pinch for exact specifications. Well worth the price.

Good to keep books in circulation
A good used book in fair condition as advertised. I'll use and pass along to another needed car repair person.

Very few useful details.
Not very detailed. Relied more on the internet than this manual. Back in the day they were very helpful, now? Not so much.

Great for routine maintenance
Got it quick and came well packaged. However it does not have the info I was hoping for, but it will come in handy for other projects down the road. I was hoping it had information on the transmission internals, for the W59 2WD.
