Accurate as compared to other moisture meters used at sawmills and kilns
After I bought this SDM moisture meter I found out that 2 of the sawmills and wood kilns use the same meter. They both told me it was a great meter. We compared some readings from my meter and their meters and they were very close. This may be a little more than needed for a serious hobbyist but you buy it once and trust it. Other reviews from some of the other company’s moisture meters didn’t sound so good. I really like the idea of selecting multiple wood types, ¼ and ¾” depth, and pinless. I had this in my Amazon cart for several weeks. The price changed every couple days, sometimes up, sometimes down.
