But, why restrict yourself? Start with Stanton Adore. This is a great series and I’m so happy I read it. Bridget and Ben are great characters and their sex life is steamy! T L Swan tells such a good story, I’ve never been disappointed.

This series has had me hooked from the first book. Each book has a wonderful storyline. This one was definitely action packed. Would highly recommend it. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.

This was a really great book. I have followed the Stanton family from the beginning and this was a great addition/spin-off. Yes you can read it as a stand-alone BUT I highly suggest reading the previous books. Not because you need more information but because it will really help you love the characters that much more. This story is a second chance romance. In this book they get the chance to fix what went wrong 5 years earlier. Never getting over each other to begin with doesn’t help Bridget when Ben shows up demanding a second chance. So so good! Cue the drama of a jealous Army sex maniac! Bridget tries to protect herself by refusing him despite her heart feeling otherwise. There is so much more story to be told aside from them figuring out the ‘will they or won’t they’ you will be surprised at what is to come. The story felt very real, and grown up, a true romance. No bullshit, no frills, no nonsense. It was funny, dramatic and raw. The character development was great. I didn’t rush the read even though I wanted to. It was lovely and heartfelt. These two together have been on a journey with too many ‘what if’s’ to make you want to pull your hair out. Hot HOT sex scenes! Ben is a man you will want to climb on and stay on! Ben is dominate in the bedroom but Bridget is Bridget and she also takes what she wants too. It was a good balance. Thoroughly enjoyed reading these wicked parts! Overall a great book. Don’t have any complaints. This is just a really really good read!!

I’ve read this book 3times and it still makes me laugh, cry, swoon and want more of this feel good read. Waiting for the audible.

Love all her books especially this series! I can’t wait to see what happens next with Brock and his love life!

This was a tough one for me. I am a huge TL Swan fan but this book was just not it for me. Spicy scenes were fire, as to be expected from this author, but I could not get into the two main characters. The FMC just comes off as a whiny Australian Barbie doll and the MMC is of course the meat head military alpha. Idk I just feel like there was whiplash from the character arcs and some unfinished story lines. For those who are into the military stuff though, you will love it.

Also, I have a Question?..Are we going to get Adrian’s story w/Nicolaus perhaps? I thought they were a great couple. Well Done Ms Swan

I didn’t see it coming..and I loved that aspect. Her novels are always filled with sexy, smoking hot moments, irresistible men, and just as appealing heroines. True to form, all of these pieces were in play. But, the twists and turns brought completely new elements to this love affair that wove in elements of mystery and suspense to drive the story at a thundering pace. “He has the most beautiful body in the world… but it’s his soul that I love. The dominant alpha man who has shown me what it’s like to really love someone.” My favorite part of Marx Girl was Ben. Good grief. One can’t help but love a good alpha male who is slow to love, but when he does gives it whole-heartedly and with all he is. Not only were we endeared to his soulful ways, we were also captivated by his sexual desire and the intensity with which he captured Bridget’s body. Holy hotness. His presence dominated this novel, giving us one heck of a fantasy on which to hang our dreams. “I was born for this, to do this with him. To love him the way I do. Nothing else matters when I’m in his arms and his body is inside mine.” Heart pounding, sexy, and alive, Marx Girl gave a second chance for friends to become all they were meant to be. “I will love him to infinity and beyond.”

Fabulous! A must read!

It was a Rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book. Their love so intense. Ben's duty towards his country. The last bit got me emotional when Bridget was informed about his death. All in all a beautiful read.

Another incredible, well written story by one of my favourite authors. I loved the Stanton series and had been anxiously awaiting Ben and Bridget’s story. Ms Swan did not disappoint with this book, which had me captivated from the very first page. I adore these two characters. Ben is a typical hot-blooded alpha male. He’s possessive and passionate but he is also damaged and doesn’t think he’s worthy of Bridget’s love. He broke her heart 5 years earlier but has now come back to claim his girl. Bridget is beautiful, sassy, strong willed and knows what she wants. She tried to move on with her life after Ben left her without any explanation as to why, but she never really got over him and her love for Ben never died. But she struggles to get him to open up to her. This book is full of angst, passion, suspense, and hot and steamy love scenes. It had me on a roller coaster of emotions. It had me swooning really bad for Ben, then feeling annoyed and frustrated with him at the same time. It had me on the edge of my seat and then crying sad but also happy tears. It was hard to put down and the ending was just perfect. Marx Girl is one of my favourite reads this year!

Wow the emotional rollercoaster! Incredibly written and so gripping - what a love story. The best Swan book I have read… so far!

So gripping! So sexual. I highly recommend. Such an easy light read yet unable to put the book down and pulls at your heartstrings
