A truly incredible movie!
I have seen this several times, and chose to add it to my movie collection. Such an important and impactful film, literally heartbreaking. It arrived well packaged and on time. Highly recommended.

A definite must see!
Everyone should watch this dvd! It tells the true story of Oskar Schindler and how he helped many Jews during the Second World War escape from death in the Nazi Concentration Camps. Excellent quality dvd

language inconsistency
25-years edition, three discs, the main feature is split over two discs, which is okay. Impressive extra features which alone are worth the buy. Picture quality is crystal clear. Film is strong, but could have been even stronger if Spielberg had decided to let ALL German characters be played by German actors and have them speak in German language throughout. THAT would add much Impact! Unfortunately the film lacks language consistency. The German characters of high rank speak English, those of low rank speak (or rather: shout) German. If I had been in Spielberg's shoes I would have tried to convince the producers of the film that all characters have to speak their mother language and that the whole film gets subtitled. I don't know whether Spielberg actually had this idea but was told to better cast superstars in leading roles who, of course, had to speak English when portraying Germans. For me this is an important detail. The film is great and important. If it had language consistency. THEN the film would be a masterpiece, in my humble opinion.

First copy from UK would not play on my moms DVD player as it was in a different format. Second copy did work and was a much appreciated gift

I was very happy to see this movie again. It brings back the memory of my father (when he was alive) who watched it with me (the first time), and cried. I especially enjoyed the Q & A session with the actors (25 years later), comments of Spielberg, and info about USC Shoah organization.
