Hi there, The 500mg tablet is a combination of different ingredients. The two main ingredients are curcumin (extracted from turmeric) and soy lecithin. The reason we combine these two ingredients is because curcumin alone, does not get absorbed very well by the body and the research shows that it should be combined with a fat (such as soy lecithin) to help it to be optimally absorbed.
