We spray the trails on our deer lease 2-3 times a year depending on the amount of rain we get. When I buy Glyphosate concentrate, I never shop by brand. I check for the same concentration I always use, and shop by price. This time around, the ranger pro brand was the cheapest. It has performed just the same as the other brands I have used in the past with the exact same mixture. I spray the trails with a field king backpack sprayer which has been amazing. the results take a few weeks for complete death of the vegetation, but stuff stays dead for several months depending on the amount of rain a place gets. This year has been dry on my hunting lease so I have only sprayed twice this year and the trails remain clear enough. i buy by price and this past time this was the cheapest. $63.64 for a 2.5 gallon jug at the time of this review which is about the most I'm looking to pay. it was in the 50 dollar range a few years back before the economy got bad, but this is still very well priced and works great if you mix and apply it properly. in some places I have used it, it has lasted a very long time before regrowth starts, but this has very little to do with the chemical if you understand how it works. it will kill everything dead! As new seeds blow in, and if there is lot's of rain, new growth occurs but it is from new seedlings and not from the old growth which is dead as Abraham Lincoln.

Ignore the negative comments here. I have been using the product for the last two years. Works excellent. Just have to understand that the weeds will not wilt and die in a week. It is systemic, plant absorbs, turns yellow, then brown- dead. Can't compare to lawn weed killers that you see progress overnight. It eventually kills the plant. Be careful not to overspray as it will kill plants nearby. When I use it up, will buy again.

This weed-grass killer is just as effective as more well known name brands when used as directed and usually at a better price.

This is just generic Round Up so everyone knows how it works. The price is fine. Arrived on time. The problem is the container. I had it stored in the garage sitting on the floor for a few months. Walked out one day and noticed a large sticky puddle under the container as it had started to leak. In case you are wondering, I live in the Phoenix, AZ metro area so it did NOT freeze. No kids jumping on it or playing around. I was careful when I used it. The container just leaked under normal use. Fortunately I was able to get two empty , one gallon, liquid laundry detergent bottles and transfer the remaining liquid into those. FIVE bonuses to using the detergent bottles, I mean besides not leaking all over my garage floor. 1) the bottles are sturdier and thicker 2) the one gallon size makes them easier to lift and to shake up before use 3) the "no spill" type cap makes it easier to dispense 4) I could probably use the measuring cap of the detergent bottle to measure how much weed killer I am using, although I have not tried it yet 5) the no spill design also means the unused product drains back into the bottle Now that I think about it, I wish these products were sold in liquid laundry detergent style bottles to begin with. To summarize, the product is fine but the container is not. If you buy this product for the value (which is good) then I suggest saving 2-3 empty and clean liquid laundry detergent bottles and transferring the product into the smaller bottles as soon as you receive it.

This is good value for 2.6 gal 41% glyphosate. No problems with shipping (arrived perfectly) and the size is perfect for my use on the farm. It's as effective as any other bulk 41% glyphosate. You might need to mix in a surfactant for some applications. It's not a rain resistant product, it's just simple 41% gly. Read the directions!

This takes a while to see the results but it really does the job. I used it around fence rows and you can tell about a week later

Takes the 5-7 days for weeds to disappear but definitely kills them off. Beware re splashing it or runoff to something you don't want killed.

Works really well and new weeds dont sprout up after applications so must have a pre imergent (sp?) included. One bottle can pretty much cover close to 2 acres. Will definitely continue use in the future.
