Great remote for my off brand AC unit from Walmart.
I have a Simzlife AC from Walmart. I really thought it was a shot in the dark this would work for me. I really wanted a backlit remote for my AC. Unbelievably, I didn't even have to program it. It wot straight out of the package!

Didn't operate my old Kenmore
it seems to be a fine piece of equipment but it doesn't work for my old Kenmore AC (which still works just fine). But it could be the receiver in my AC that's at fault. I had to return the remote.

Does not work with Frigidaire as advertised.
I tried all codes in the "General Electric" and "Electrolux" sections in the manual (as it states to do for Frigidaire AC's). Additionally I tried the automatic search both with the AC turned off at first, and then again with the AC turned on during the code search (it searches 2000 codes). I mounted the remote on a tripod 3 ft. from the AC unit during the code search. At no time did the remote alter the power state of the AC unit. I have verified that the remote is sending by observing it with my digital camera, and I can see the emitter light up. Judging by all the other ratings, this doesn't work with anything! I've waited since last week for a reply from Tech Support.

Not compatible with Soleus WS3-06E
This universal is not compatible with Soleus WS3-06E models of saddle air conditioner. I ordered it because online information, including Amazon's recommeddation, suggested it was compatible with Soleus ACs. It seemed to work as advertized, but it was not able to connect with my AC. I finally contacterd technical support for Soleus and they directed me to a site that sells Soleus parts. Good luck.

They are a good option.
The remotes to our mini splits were misplaced so we ordered these. They worked well but we didn’t need to use them since we found the original remotes.

This remote worked perfectly for me, I didn't need to program or enter codes, I pointed it towards my Frigidaire window Ac pressed the power button twice and wallah 😅
