Blender on steroids? This blender is HUGE and QUIET
This blender is as good as any blender I’ve ever used. Be warned that it is HUGE. It doesn’t fit under my cupboards and takes up a lot of space in my pantry. This thing is so massive that you really need to figure out where you are going to store it between uses. Aside from size, this is a well built, heavy duty machine that will tackle anything you put in it.

Great upgrade for me
This is the first expensive blender I’ve owned and all of my comparisons are against a used 750 watt B&D I bought for $20. It couldn’t take my frozen fruits and the motor gave out after 5 months. I wanted a blender that could handle as many frozen fruits as I could throw at it. Overall, this blender has fulfilled that want. Noise reduction is fantastic! I had a super loud (and much cheaper) blender before and can certainly tell the difference. I can actually have a conversation and/or hear the tv about it. I make smoothies almost every day with lots of frozen fruits, including half bananas, whole strawberries, and more, and my old blender took 5-10 minutes (super inconvenient when I have to be at work at 5:30 am and want as much sleep as possible and want to leave my house fast) to blend down all my frozen fruits and still came out with a pretty thick smoothie. Note, that 5-10 min included me vigorously shaking the contents down and *multiple* instances of me having to drop the blender and push things down each time I made a smoothie. And yes, I did layer it properly! When I started using this one I didn’t know smoothies could be so thin and smooth - I love it! And thank God I don’t have to do much manual labor (I’m being dramatic) to help it get there. I suppose if you’re into thicker smoothies this blender might be a bit too...efficient? To be fair, I’ve maybe purchased a smoothies from a smoothie place less than five times in my life so my perception of what a “normal” smoothie thickness is supposed to be like could be off. That said, I have still noted some small chunks of frozen fruit left after I finish the 1 minute pre-set smoothie button. Even after pressing it twice (2 min total), there were still small(er) bits of mango/banana in my smoothie, which was generally quite smooth otherwise. While the chunks aren’t large enough to bother me much, I was a bit disappointed that the blender didn’t get them in 1-2 minutes. This is the reason I took off a star. I’ll keep playing around with the settings. I haven’t tried the number dial yet, so maybe with a bit of trial and error and can get ride of all the chunks within that timeframe. As for the size, it is certainly large, but I have it stays on my counter where there are no upper cabinets. This also allows me to leave the noise-reducer on, which I would recommend; I can see how those little plastic nubs would break off easily with repeated placement and removal of the dome.

Runs like a breeze.
What a great and quiet (relatively) blender. Blends kale fore smoothies stalk and all into a smooth juice. Makes creamy soup and hummus too.

TDI free Blended!
Absolutely love this blender! It makes ice cream so you know exactly what ingredients it contains. I make my smoothies every morning! Truly helps me live a healthier lifestyle. Worth the money! Plus no TDI cancer causing chemical most blenders contains! When you are trying to be healthy you shouldn’t blend your fruits and veggies inside a blender with cancer causing chemicals! Always do your research!

It works
This an excellent blender ! Super strong and very silent ! I do only frozen blends ! And it’s a beauty. Expensive but worth every dollar if you want to enjoy a smoothie without seeds or chunks of frozen fruit ! This is it !!

I love this blender but sometimes things are spilled
I love Philips blenders, and this one is really powerful. However, there are a couple of small issues: the plastic of the cover doesn't seem to be good quality and a couple of times the content has pushed the lid while the blender is working causing a mess (I don't know how this has happened, as the blender has never been completely full).
