This is the 2nd breast pump I've owned and honestly thought nothing could best my previous (Tommee Tippee electronic pump.) However after reading the reviews I thought I'd give this one a try. Oh my goodness what a machine! I'm managing to pump more with this than I ever did with my old one. The only downside to this pump is how many pieces there are to clean (and when you're expressing every 3 hours as I am due to babys tongue tie) which can be a bit of a chore. However that aside, the machine is do easy to use and control that far outways the negatives. Please dont hesitate to buy this machine, it definitely works and is so simple to use.

I bought this to supplement breastfeeding and I have ended up exclusively pumping for my 3.5 week old baby. With the NUBY double breast pump I am able to pump enough breast milk for all of my son’s bottles in a 24 hour period (generally I have 7-8 portions of 90-120 ml of milk in the fridge). I personally don’t find it too fiddly to take apart and clean, I like that I can charge the pump machine and I get 2-2.5 days out of one charge and I am pumping every 3-4 hours. It can be tricky to negotiate holding the pumps against my breasts but I would imagine this would be the case with any breast pumps. Not tried a pumping bra yet but that’s next on my list to check out. It‘s also not silent however I have pumped next to my sleeping baby at 3am and he’s not stirred and I’ve been able to watch TV whilst pumping without increasing the volume. I’m really pleased with this purchase.

Edited: I got a second pump and it was working ok, however, after 2 months of light use it suddenly stopped charging and it won't work even when plugged in. Do not waste your time with this item. I got this pump based on the reviews and I only started to use it about 2 weeks but I had to return it. It has lost suction but mainly i was never able to use it without the charger,I am not sure if the battery was faulty or what the issue is so I had to return it. I have not used other electric pumps so I cannot compare it with other units but this pump made the nipples really big and an odd shape and I doubt this would be right so overall not happy with it.

Super product! I have used daily for eight months and found it to be easy to use and an effective pump. The battery charge lasts a good amount of time meaning it’s easy to pump when not near a plug socket. The bottles/ components are not showing any wear and tear after eight months of use. My advice to new mums would be to get it out off the box, cleaned and sterilised before you have your baby if you can so that you are all ready for when you decide to start pumping. I would definitely recommend.

For my first daughter I had the older nuby pump. This one is a lot better, it charges so you don’t have to stay near a plug socket, can have it as a single or double pump (easily done just switch which suction wire to use), has a strong suction and is easy to use. As it just a touch screen (no real buttons) I have found that turning the switch on the back means you don’t accidentally put it on when storing. The pump comes with 2 bottles and adapters so you can double pump straight away. It does charge whilst pumping.

We had to wait a bit for this to arrive but we’d ordered long before we needed so that was lucky! Seems to be in stock now so probably just our experience. We saw this being demonstrated at a baby show but at the time we were just getting an idea of things we’d need. My partner seems to get on really well with this - it’s really easy to use and it’s not noisy (don’t really notice if it’s on near me) and she’s been happy that she can take it with her when we go out because it’s quite small. She’s mentioned it’s comfortable and when we watched it being demonstrated we liked how you could adjust the levels of it so she’s found that really helpful too. I liked how ‘techy’ it was because you can use touch screen. It’s actually mainly being used at the moment as a single pump but she’s had it on as a double pump a few times too - guess it’s good to have the option.

After exclusively pumping for 4 months by the point of buying this I thought I would splash out on a more expensive pump. Worst decision ever. The pump is hard to clean, hard to dry fully, hard to find any inserts for nipple sizing and the least powerful pump I had. My old £40 one was much better. I had a fantastic milk supply until using this pump and unfortunately I stopped pumping after 6 months due to my experience with this pump. Definitely not worth the money. The only pro was that it was quieter than the cheaper ones
