Excellent product
Excellent product!! The color is an exact match, and the applicator with the fine end/brush/clear coat is a really good design. I recommend waiting 30min between each of 2-3 coats for the best look. Very glad this company/product exists, will remain a customer!

If you are repairing your Tesla Model 3 Rims, This may help.
I'll cover a few things first, the packaging is confusing. ALWAYS stand the paint with the fat end down, with the label facing you and readable, remove the top cap by unscrewing it and the brush will be facing down into the paint, unscrew the bottom to access the foam brush with the clear coat. do NOT hold the paint with the label upside down or you will spill everything when you open it. If you are repairing your Tesla Model 3 Rims, the color is spot on. To make a perfect repair, do not rush and just apply the paint to the scraped rim. . Just applying paint will look better than the scrapes, but not very good. Get fine grit sand paper and sand the surface flat first The color match will be so close you will not spot it afterwards. I sanded with two different grit sandpaper, applied gray primer, and let it dry for 24 hours before applying the first coat of paint. Let it dry a good amount of time, because the first coat of paint will tend to liquefy if you apply the second coat too soon. The paint is actually quite thick, so be aware that when you start the painting process. I didn't use the clearcoat because the color and shine are so close to the original paint since I scraped my rim after owning my new car only three days. I compiled this from my experience using it and confirming the advice given by other users. A side note, the paint has a pressure sensitive point that will apply paint by pressing the tip to the object you wish to apply the paint to. I don't recommend using it on the rims. it tends to apply thick blobs. Also, there is very little paint in the kit, so be sparing with it. The picture is the actual repaired rim, and the damage was pretty obvious. Take your time, and be patient, the repair will look great! I hope this helps,

A good match for F-150 DX paint code, but not perfect. Terrible price.
A good match for my 2008 F-150 with paint code "DX" which is a dark blue. The match was not perfect, but it was good enough. This paint goes on easily enough and dries fast. I like the included clear coat. This touch up paint doesn't hide the scrapes and dings on my truck but it makes the damage look much less obvious. My only complaint is the $18 price. What a total rip off.

Yes.
Accidentally left it in my trunk all winter and it still works wonders! Absolutely worked perfect for my Lexus. Totally worth the money. Hasnโt chipped whatsoever and thereโs been paint on all winter from last summer.

If you're ordering a tricoat, be aware, this is but ONE part of three.
I got this for a Ford that is a pearlescent white. If you use this color alone, it will NOT match the car's original color if the scratch is anything more than superficial. If you're down to bare metal or black plastic, you have more work to do. I got this to paint a replacement backup sensor that comes unpainted (black plastic). In order to get it to match, I sprayed the sensor with primer, let that dry. Then I sprayed the primer with plain white. Next, I used the product being reviewed here since it adds the metallic/pearlescent finish. Finally, you have to clearcoat it or it will be a matte finish. If you just brush this on anything other than a white finish, it will just be metallic silver. You must also add a gloss to it. The finished product once you do everything properly, is a very good match to the original, but you can't just smear this stuff on by itself. The only part I didn't like is that the consistency is a lot runny. If you're not careful, the surface will not be even. Also, it will take at least two light coats applied gently. The stuff in the pen has a lot of solvent and will remove the white layer below if you're not careful. One quick brushstroke and be done. In the photo, you can see the upper right (old) sensor side was primed and painted with the Duplicolor brush. It is silver, not white. On the face of the sensor, you can see the actual car color. On the lower left sensor side, you can see a sloppy test with primer, white, and Duplicolor (did not gloss the test part).

Did the job, but not pretty
NOT as easy as it looks. I watched a ton of their videos and they make it look super easy. It is if you are looking to just make sure your car doesnโt rust where it is exposed, but it is not going to be pretty. The paint applicators are not very precise. The one is like painting your nails. It came with a few strands curled and would not straighten. It was medium to low quality and would not apply very well or correct the amount easily. I had it often where it would pool too much paint and have a drip form at the bottom. I couldnโt get it to soak up the extra. The felt pen like applicator, as I understand it, is for more precise application. It was not. It poured out more than the other applicator, even after trying lightly. It was either pouring out or not at all. Again, drops formed. The color was a touch darker than my car, which I matched according to the paint code in the door. It wasnโt significant, but I noticed. My car is 10 years old and it may have faded, but that has to factor into the viability of using a product like this. The applicator for the clear coat was a bit more manageable. It was like a sponge on a stick in a triangle shape with the tip of the sharper angle for application. The clear coat goes on nicer, but mounds over the previously applied paint. It is noticeable after it dries, but it is small enough you donโt see it from afar. I work at an automotive repair shop and so had access to a garage to maintain the temperature properly. One of the paint guys even commented that it looked decent for what it was. Maybe I expected more out of this than was reasonable? Just know it isnโt going to restore it, I guess. That is what you pay the big bucks for when you take it to a body shop. I was hoping it would look nicer than it did. I am a practical person, so it works for me to prevent my car from rusting, but I cannot overlook the small disappointment of the appearance.
