Worthless book
The book is not useful for the bigginers as well as learners........nothing is there in the book...worthless book.... Does not nention the basic rules in structural analysis with respect to staad pro.. It is better to give some.tips regarding how to use staad pro......some shortcuts are there in every software tool but the author doesnot exibhit those things.... Does not mentioned how to go throuh the results after run analysis

there are a few miss prints in this book which makes it a little hard to follow instructions. The author assumes that you know certain aspects of staad pro and this also makes it difficult to follow his instructions.

Not helpful, poorly written and full of errors.
What could have been a very useful book, ended up being a complete mess of a book. The idea of the book, with progressive difficulty of examples and solutions is a proven formula for self help books, that this book has managed to get wrong on a cataclysmic scale. Whilst some of the examples are useful as an "idea", the step by step details are absolutely shocking. They are incoherent, jumbled, out of order with often incorrect references. It looks like this book has never been proof read. The book is full or errors and as such it ended up being more of a hindrance than a help. I've given it 2 stars as it at least provides an overview of possible uses of STAAD, if you have patience, and a desire to learn the software, you may be able to slog your way through this,.....I just about managed.
