A lot has changed in Neo-Gotham over the last year. Now balancing college, family, and crime fighting, Terry McGinnis still dons the red and black suit as Batman. Bruce Wayne is no longer chirping in his ear, however, replaced by the former Nightwing himself, Dick Grayson. One thing that never changes, though, is someoneโs always looking to bring the city to its knees. Called in to investigate the death of Mayor Davis, Batman and his allies sense foul play. When someone frees the inmates held in Davisโ pet project, the new Arkham Institute, those suspicions become dangerous reality. But the menace behind these attacks is someone Batman has never faced before, an unknown quantity. Calling himself Rewire, this electrically charged villain has plans for Neo-Gotham -- starting with the end of Batman! Itโs a new era for Batman Beyond as writer KYLE HIGGINS (NIGHTWING, DEATHSTROKE) and artist THONY SILAS (Venom) plug you into BATMAN BEYOND 2.0: REWIRED (collects stories from BATMAN BEYOND UNIVERSE #1-8)! Review: Loved It - I grew up watching Batman Beyond and loving it. I tried the previous series, New 52, and Rebirth. I love them all. Terry is one of my favorite characters. This feels like a continuation of the show. I love it. I also really love Dick Grayson, and he's got some great moments in here. My only issue is for some reason Terry is working with Dick and not Bruce. It's never explained. I read the previous series 2 years ago. Guess I gotta go back because I don't remember what happened or why. Review: Familiar Territory, but not a bad thing - I've always been a fan of Batman Beyond, so when I happened to stumble upon this TPB at my local comic book store I knew I had to get it. Then comparing prices, desertcart usually always has the better deal, so fast forward to when I get it in my hands. The art and story are awesome. I never thought of it before but Batman Beyond (Terry Mcginnis), as other readers have said, does remind me of Spiderman. I enjoyed this comic book hero nonetheless, seeing as Spidey is one of my favorites. But definitely a recommended read.

like it ok
But it does run more like a video game or TV show... Just can't find the character depth... But fun.

Excellent
Two excellent stories (plus a short) that introduce new characters and generally expand on the Beyond-verse. Also, I really like the art!

A Love Letter to All Batman Beyond Fans
As a kid who grew up in the 90s watching all of the classic superhero tv shows (including Batman Beyond), I gotta admit, I throughly enjoyed this series. It felt like a continuation of the show, with all the familiar characters, and several new ones to keep you intrigued. However, I do recommend reading the earlier comics to avoid some confusion. This book series also felt more mature than the TV show (but even that's debatable). which I also enjoyed reading as an adult. Most of all, I was happy with the return of Melanie Walker. I loved the chemistry between her and Terry in the show, and this also felt like a continuation. For those who dont know, Melanie Walker is the "Selina Kyle" of Batman Beyond. Overall, this is a great series, especially for the fans. I look forward to reading more.

Terry again proves that he IS the Batman of the future
Highly recommended, but if you are new to Batman Beyond books go back and get the early ones first (Hush Beyond etc) This is a great addition the the Batman Beyond world. This is part one of the latest arc. It is set 1 year after the previous book and there is a new handler helping Terry. The plot alludes to an argument between Terry and Bruce, but it doesn't let you know what (apparently that will be in the third of this set if it gets released in TPB) and I am dying to know. the plot is two fold, one with a gang trying to take out a now more experience BB and then the story featuring the return of Manbat. I really like the way old and new villains and characters are carefully mixed in with this series. I very much recommend reading it alongside the companion Justice league book to get the full experience (read them in order or risk spoilers!) The artwork is as always top notch, and as is typical with the BB books the story is pacey and exciting. You will probably want to reread it a few weeks later just to pick up on the subtleties. Much like a good movie, you in the first viewing just 'hang on tight'.

The Batman Beyond : The Batman of Second Chances
Davis Dusk aka Rewire basically kills his father in a power move... Releases Gotham's tech-heavy criminals Ghoul. And faces off against Terry "THE BATMAN OF NEO-GOTHAM" McGinnis . Rewire was also about restarting old relationships that were presumed dead Dick-Barbara, Dick-Bruce while there's a new triangle of Dick, Barbs and Terry. Terry seems to be in a love triangle with Dana and Melanie. The saddest story was how Dr. Kirk Langstrom lost his wife and it caused him to succumb to the idea of The Man-Bat. It is a story about the idea of not having a second chance.
