They are weighty but really bring the world up close.
Just came back from another Alaska cruise; and these truly made up for past binocular mistakes of having under powered binoculars on deck and excursion. I like the easy of adjusting, the lense caps have a attached ring so they don't get off and although a little heavy they really let us see the whales, bears and sea otters so much better. Use your AI to help you understand and figure out the best binocular for you. I was looking not only for field of view and power (there is a major compromise between the two) but ones that worked well with glasses. There is something called eye view or something on how far apart the ocular lenses are spaced with over 15mm being highly recommended. These fit that bill. I was considering stabilized binoculars, and if I cruised more, would probably get those because a little movement does take you out of what you are looking for. High end, yes but if you do a lot of sight seeing, especially wildlife a very good choice.

Absolutely fantastic optical & build quality!
I am no stranger to quality glass and had decided to buy a pair of midrange 10x50โs for mixed-use, Astronomy & hunting/bird-watching. After a LOT of research and comparison Iโd narrowed the choice to these and a similar pair from German Precision Optics and, to be honest, I chose the Mavens because I liked the orange ring. Iโve been astonished at how well theyโve performed. Optical quality is on-par with optics costing twice as much and the polycarbonate body feels very sturdy and solid in-hand without being too heavy for extended viewing. Contrast is excellent, detail is fantastic across the board, slight chromatic aberration at the edges, but thatโs not a huge deal. I was a little worried about the tight FOV but the clarity more than makes up for it. Iโll definitely buy Maven again.

Very nice quality. Very impressed.
I bought these for western deer and elk hunting and had a pair Vortex Diamondbacks, which were a good value for the money. I gave them to my son, who didnโt have any and bought the Maven C3 10X 50. Iโm very impressed with the quality of the Mavens. Great image quality and light transmission. Iโd say, one would be hard pressed to find a better pair in that price range. Many people compare them to units that cost 2,000 plus, but thatโs maybe not a fair comparison.

Very good, but not great
There are many things to like about these Maven 10x50's- excellent build quality, nice rubber armor, and good quality image for near to mid distance objects. The Mavens however fall short in long distance viewing- they just cannot resolve the image to my satisfaction. In addition, they have a field of view which is just too narrow and restrictive. Both of these were deal breakers for me. In addition, I am not a fan of the included soft cloth pouch- Maven should have included a case instead- even a simple one would provide more protection. Overall, a very nice set of binoculars which may be just fine in some situations. Their performance probably lines up with their mid-price, but they fall short of being excellent. I was hoping for more. UPDATE (5/26/23): I ended up purchasing the Maven B2 11x45's- these are much more costly, but vastly superior to the C3 series. Highly recommend the B2's instead of these.

Great Binoculars (I researched a lot)
I have been looking for a good general pair of binoculars for several months and eventually suffered from paralysis by analysis. In the end, I purchased the Maven C3 10X50 binoculars as part of the Black Friday deal. Let me just say, that I am not disappointed at all. I considered different brands and magnifications, but ultimately I wanted something to also gaze at the moon. Indeed, this model fits the bill for all aspects of what I wanted to use them for. The construction and quality of these binoculars are quite high. I really wanted something with good clarity and these do not disappoint. My eyes are aging, but I had no problem with the FOV or eye relief. I was quite impressed with the ease of use which was very important for me. Yes, gazing at the moon is quite impressive for general viewing. Obviously, a high magnification would be needed for in depth detail, but I wanted something that my shaky hands could still use. Great purchase and Maven binoculars do live up to all the hype. I may consider another pair in the future.

Worth every penny
After reading and watching every review I could find on these binoculars, I finally pulled the trigger on the C.3 10x50. Vortex was the only other I looked at in this price range and the equal is a little more money. Maven either sells them on their web site or here, and that saves the middle man. Bass Pro and such have to make a profit so the price comes up. No you can't try them out in the store but you can do a loaner program on their site, sort of "Try before you buy". Bottom line is great quality build, and I have the lower end model but feel like it's the top end. All quality materials used. The vision is stellar and so crisp. I would have popped for the B series but I just use them for target/3d, not hunting. Great company, give them a try.

Great Value!
If you are looking for quality binoculars and a lower than expected price, these are great. I use them for hunting and are great in low light situations. They are sturdy, but not ultralight so if carrying on your pack for a long distance you might look for something lighter. They do take a bit to get adjusted, but once set up they work great. I have owned more expense binoculars but like thatโs better and especially the lifetime guarantee.

Sharp, nice grips, good low-light performance
Got these for bird watching to complement a pair of Athlon Midas 8x42. Wasn't sure if stability would be an issue, but unless you have had wayyy too much caffeine, you can hold them steady without too much trouble. They are heavy, and if I was using them a ton I might spring for a chest harness instead of the neck strap, but instead I just sling them crossbody like a maniac. Excellent purchase.

Best binoculars available for the price
I spent hours researching which binoculars to get and I landed on these and they did not disappoint. Their quality is head-and-shoulders above anything else that's currently on the market at this price point (multi-coated Japanese lenses, fog-proof, waterproof, with solid build quality, unconditional lifetime warranty, etc.). To do better, you'd have to spend twice as much or more. The view through them is crisp, clear, and excellent in most light conditions, including dusk. Some reviews criticized the field of view, which I didn't find to be a problem. If money is no object for you, go for for a set of super high-end binos (and pay accordingly), but if you want the best value for the buck, you can't go wrong with these Mavens.
