can this be used for stage combat?

Don't even think about using this sword for stage combat unless you want someone to get hurt really, really badly. You want a thing called a "foam sword" for that. Swords are very, very dangerous weapons, they're not toys and it's easy enough to hurt someone by accident when you're not trying to. If you wouldn't use a real gun loaded with live ammunition you shouldn't be using something like this either. Waving this around on a stage is the best way I can think of to bring your play to a very terrible, bloody conclusion ... with real blood.
