Cute and effective!!
This Peleg Design separator is a kitchen game-changer! I have the Yolkpig, and it makes separating eggs actually fun. It’s super intuitive, just a quick squeeze, and it sucks the yolk up perfectly without breaking it. It’s much cleaner than the old back and forth shell method and cleans up easily in the dishwasher. Plus, it looks adorable sitting on my counter. Highly recommend for any home baker!

My hubby gives big thumbs up; frog sucks the egg yolks up perfectly. Great quality, sturdy material, easy to use and clean! Pretty cute too and budget friendly.

Greatest invention since the egg
I've heard that you can separate an egg by transferring the yolk back and forth between the halves. Yeah. No. First I tried a little spiral coil deal. The albumen refused to let go. Bounce the thing. Nope. OH, hey, let's place the egg in warm water for a few minutes. Yeah, the yolk now has the ability to slip through the coil. Next was a little tray kind of deal that has slots around the edges and perches on the edge of a container. Took me an hour to find a container that was just the right wall thickness. That one wasn't really that bad but I still had fits trying to get the dadgum albumen to let go. Then the YolkFish swam into my life (aw c'mon, that really wasn't optional). GLORY be, this is IT!!!! Watch the video, you just squeeze the sides, stick the mouth on the yolk, and stop squeezing. The fish gobbles up the yolk. If the albumen tries to hang on, you just rotate the fish onto its side as you're lifting it and it falls right off. Then "spit" the yolk into your mixing bowl. So simple and it works SO WELL! And I challenge anyone to not smile after seeing it work.

. . . this will work, no joke.
If you're into sucking up your yokes, this will work, no joke. I'm a health freak and the best way I found to cook and eat my eggs is to cook the whites very well because of properties that mess with your digestion. BUT! The yokes are the very, very opposite! The less you cook them, the healthier they are for you. They have most very likely the healthiest ingredients out of all the food we eat, outside red meat. The way I cook them is, like I said, first I need to separate the whites from the yokes. Then I cook the whites well done scrambled, and add cheese and onions and bell peppers. When that is all cooked, I turn off the heat and dump in the six or so yokes, stir it real quick just to combine everything, and then quickly dump it on my plate. Those yokes are raw and tasty, and I'm very healthy.

Excellent and Simple
Simple and an expensive little gadget does exactly what it advertised! Nothing more nothing less. Really happy with this product! It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. The silicone it’s made out of is nice and sturdy feeling. I’ve been separating my eggs for a while before eating them now and this is a must have. I wish I knew about it sooner!

Love this little pig! Not only is it pretty cute, but does its job extremely well and easily! Bonus is it is a great little toy for my grand daughter in her high chair...

This is a great little kitchen gadget (if you can call a piece of rubber a gadget?) that works really well and is surprisingly satisfying to use. Beware of cheap knock-off versions advertised elsewhere - this one is the real deal and comes with proper packaging should you be buying as a gift.
