For someone who opens as many boxes from Amazon as I do, this cutter is sharp and durable, built to last. I love the ceramic blade. It has stayed sharp as day one after thousands of slices. The cutter is cool looking and I am always getting comments when using it. I feel safe when I use this unit and I love that I can throw it in my bag without fear of slicing myself due to the great Auto-Retractable feature.

This slicer is a great tool to reduce the risk of cutting yourself. We have selected this tool as a replacement for all of our Stanley knives and box cutters where I work. This and some of the other Slice cutter models have worked well for cutting paper and plastic, opening boxes, and other general cutting applications.

Ceramic Blades aren't sharp enough.

We had an accident where someone carelessly shanked themselves with a utility knife at one of our plants, so the corporate folks decided to eliminate the knives. Luckily, one of the other sites found this fine tool and everybody is happy. Great for opening boxes, and I just got done using it to cut fibrous tape on a huge crate. The Shippers LOVED it! Not recommended for buttering toast.
