This is an excellent, well made, sturdy stainless steel sink strainer! It fits perfectly in the kitchen sink and it is very stable. The plastic central part is higher than the level of the strainer itself. In such a way, that if you place pots, skillets, pans, or plates above it, there will be a slight gap to allow the water escape through it and preventing clogging the sink (and potential flooding). Because it is sturdy there is enough material to hit this in the wall of the garbage bin to get rid of any food debris accumulation. It feels thick and has a nice feel to the touch (weight feels just right). It is good catching food debris and I am guessing will be very durable. I hope the manufacturer does not lower its quality over time. In this age, we are certainly lacking things well made of good quality. It is made in Vietnam and has been awarded several design prizes. I bought my first one in a brick-and-mortar store and liked it so much that immediately ordered another one in Amazon. Good stuff.

I bought my SinkShroom on December 30, 2023. It is December 31, 2025, and it died a few days ago. The rubber piece finally just fell off. So, that means they last about two years. The SinkShroom worked very well at catching all the food and still allowing the water to drain. It fits my sink perfectly, and since you just have to stick it into the drain, installation takes seconds. My only problem with this strainer is the amount of gunk that builds up in the holes makes it hard to clean. It's the same slimy gunk that builds up at the bottom of most strainer after a few days. I used a brush and a toothpick to clean it, but it was a bit of a pain. My next buy is a stainer with chainmail. It's an interesting product, and hopefully it will drain the water and will be easy to clean.

It does a great job. I like that it does not have a drain stopper like other strainers, I find that feature annoying. I put this in the dishwasher often and it comes out like new.

Who knew, you could get excited about a sink strainer! Well, having tried other ones, this one is the best. Water drains fast, it doesn't float when there is too much water in the sink (or drain). The only thing is that the center black piece sticks out a bit, so it gets a bit crooked over the years because I put stuff on top of it. Mine still survived 4 years of abuse though, and I just ordered a replacement. The center black think is also a bit harder to clean, but you can pop it off to reach the inside a bit more easily.

We had to put these in both sides of our sinks because we don't want a cat to accidentally stick their paw in the disposable size (we have cats who love sleeping in sinks). I love that the plastic middle part can be adjusted, all the way down to flat, because our cats would steal the old ones, completely negating having them. We're on year 3.5 for the original one and I think 6 months for the second. Still great shape and are easy enough to clean that they still look nice.

This is an incredible sink strainer! The thing I like best about it is that food particles and pieces flow right from the sink bottom and sides directly into the strainer base. This is due to the ultra-thin out edge that doesn't stop particulates like most strainers do. Excellent product!

I was a bit unsure if this drain cover would suit our sink as I had read mixed reviews. Thought would still give it a try. Turned out it’s a perfect fit for our sink. I like it that it has a bit that pops up for you to take it out from the drain and empty and clean it. The holes are of right size too- enough to block all kinds of food debris but not stopping water from draining away. The materials feel good quality too.

It’s not exactly cheap but i fits perfectly on my old HDB kitchen sink. I have tried the China no brands ones which look nice but are usually too tall for the sink. This one works fine catching all the rubbish and does not flood the sink. I only wish that the design allows for the water to be stopped by pushing a piston down. Don’t mind paying a bit more for an enhanced version.

Product is good. Stainless steel. Unfortunately, size was bigger than my shrink. So, I had already returned.

Passt perfekt für meine Spüle in der Küche. Die breite Auflage hat mich verwundert, aber sie deckt den Bereich rund um den Abfluss selbst angenehmst ab. Das Sieb ist so konstruiert, dass Wasser auch noch abfließen kann, wenn das Sieb selbst etwa von Speise- oder Gemüseresten voll ist: das zylindrische Teil in der Mitte ist hohl und weist Löcher auf. Diese Teil ist auch als Griff gedacht, das Sieb herauszunehmen und zu leeren. Um den Preis allerdings, dass es keine Vorrichtung gibt, den Abfluss von Wasser gezielt zu stoppen. Zudem ragt das Mittelteil über die Ebene, so dass kein Topf den Abfluss sperren kann - es bleibt immer ein Spalt. Hier hält sich der Frust mit der Blisterpackung in Grenzen, das Sieb ist gut zu entnehmen.
