Good aide for nutrition and wound healing. I preferred the orange flavor, it didn't taste as fake as the other flavors. It did help my diabetic foot ulcer to heal. You have to drink it twice a day to promote wound healing. It's expensive but worth it.

And I’m feeling amazing my scar is beautiful and healing so well with 0 issues I pick the fruit punch and love the flavor you can adding with regular water or another regular liquid drink I highly recommend this product you won’t be disappointed at all !!! I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. I began taking Juven two weeks before surgery and continued to take in for four weeks after surgery. I drank one package, twice a day. I healed perfectly! I had no openings of my incisions, no infections, no complications at all! You do have to let the drink mix sit for a good 10 minutes with a few shakes to get it to desolve all the way. I had the fruit punch flavor, which isn't bad. They are very easy to drink. This is great. I first learned about it from a nurse when I had surgery. It works well. Since then I have gotten some for my mother in law who has a tumor removed, a friend who had back surgery, and a friend who had foot ulcers due to being diabetic. They all loved it and it drastically improves healing and healing time. Any type of wound or surgery buy this. It is pricey but works!`

I purchased the Fruit Punch flavor of Juven by Ensure to help support healing after surgery. The taste was actually much better than I expected — easy to drink and not overly chalky or thick like some nutrition powders can be. I liked that it’s designed specifically for wound healing and recovery support. One thing I really appreciated was the packet design. When you tear open the top, the opening is the perfect size to pour directly into a water bottle without making a mess, which made it convenient to use. Just don't forget to take a few sips first to make room for the powder! The downside for me was that I consistently noticed headaches after drinking it. I’m not sure if it was one of the ingredients or just how my body reacted, but it happened enough times that I felt it was related to the product. Because of that, I’m not sure I’ll continue using it, even though the flavor and recovery-focused ingredients were a plus.

Juven really works! I went home from the hospital with a massive 10 inch wide and two inch deep open abdominal wound. The rate and nurses have been amazed at my wound healing rate. I've only tried the fruit punch and a pineapple coconut flavors. Between those two, the fruit punch is definitely the better choice. The pineapple flavor vaguely reminds me of Colonoscopy prep because it has a slightly salty taste.

I had surgery in July 2025. A few weeks later we noticed a small area was closed but the ‘bed’ (my doctor’s term for the bottom layers of the skin) was not healing. We tried different methods to promote the healing of that area to no avail including a wet to dry bandage. In September we decided to do a debridement. After the debridement, it looked as if it was healing well. Approximately three weeks later, it became infected on the inside which caused it to reopen. I then went to a wound care clinic. This clinic is part of a major, well known, top rated, specialty hospital that works with high risk patients of which I am a patient. They had me pack the wound with medicated gauze every other day. They also suggested that I drink two packets of Juven daily and eat lots of protein. It has been one month, the wound is now healed. Each staff member who examined me during my visits was convinced that the Juven played a major part of the healing. The difference between my first and second visit was clearly visible and it improved from week to week. They suggested that I continue it for two more weeks but I have been cleared to continue further treatments. I bought the fruit punch flavor and mixed it with 8 ounces water. The taste was fine for me. I drank it without food, between breakfast and lunch and then between dinner and bedtime. If I have another surgery, my intention will be to use Juven to help the healing process. Pricey? Yes. But we are all worth every penny.
