I am thoroughly satisfied with this stainless steel beverage spigot from Oak Leaf. It is a high-quality product offered at a very good price... the best I could find at the time of this review. Oak Leaf responded promptly to my question. The spigot arrived quickly and I was immediately impressed with its quality. For some re-ason water currently tastes too bland to me so I haven't been drinking as much as I should. I decided to get a beverage dispenser to have infused water that I enjoy drinking more readily available. After purchasing a beverage dispenser locally for way too much $$$, I was very disappointed with the cheap, plastic, painted spigot that came with it. It looked ugly (really cheap), dispensed water very slowly, and I'm certain it would fail in short time. Plus, I'm not keen on using plastic for food & beverage storage. I returned it immediately and looked on Amazon for a better model. It seems cheap spigots are the defacto offerings - yuk. While searching, I saw listings for stainless steel spigots & that gave me the idea to make a DIY infused water dispenser. After researching SS spigots, this one offered by Oak Leaf is the best option. I already had a glass gallon jar so I ordered the drill bit needed for $8 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B300J8O/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and this awesome spigot. Everything arrived within two days and I had my infused water dispenser up and running in under 20 minutes including the time for drilling the hole in the jar and assembling the spigot... and slicing up fruits for the infusion. I'm no DIY expert, it was just that easy. The installation itself is a piece of cake. Instructions are not included but none are needed as it is so intuitive. Logically, it only fits one way: - Slide one stainless steel washer onto the spigot screw (convex facing out; towards the spigot head) followed by one silicone spacer. - Place the screw thru the hole in the jar. - From inside the jar, slide the 2nd silicone spacer onto the screw followed by the 2nd SS washer (convex facing in; away from the spigot head). - Thread the nut onto the screw and finger tighten. TIP: I found it easier to hold the nut stationary from inside the jar and turn the spigot clockwise from outside the jar to tighten. Take care to not overtighten - just enough so the spigot head doesn't wobble or jiggle. This spigot is well designed & shouldn't leak even if it's on loose enough to wobble. I do not have strong hands and did not find it necessary to use a wrench. This spigot is nicely machined and polished, has a good solid heft, dispenses like a dream & turns off securely - no drips. [TIP: If your spigot slows down, loosen the jar lid a tad to release the vacuum. I loosen mine after placing it on the stand and leave it that way.] The silicone spacers are dense but pliable enough to offer a secure seal. The nut threads smoothly on the screw. The screw is long enough to accommodate thicker walled containers. All included components show no seam lines and are of high quality. I'm so pleased with my DIY dispenser and LOVE how this spigot makes it look. The polished hardware gives it the appearance of high-end models, 😉. And I am drinking more water again, so, it's working well for me. This unit is lead free and also safe to use with acidic beverages like teas, kombucha, sangria, etc. I am confident that this product will last for many, many years and will live to see multiple applications. I happily recommend this spigot and feel good about doing so. Seriously, you really can't beat this price! I am thinking of a couple more DIY dispensing project ideas & will surely order from Oak Leaf again when needed. Best of luck in whatever your spigot usage needs are.

Works great. Bought to replace a cheap valve that was on my store bought dispenser. Liquids pour out at a nice pace and makes the dispenser look more expensive.

I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this spigot, especially for the price! I bought it as a replacement for the original plastic spigot on my ZeroWater glass dispenser, which felt cheap and had constant leaking issues. From the moment I received this spigot, I could tell it was a significant upgrade. The weight and feel of it scream durability, and the handle operates smooth as butter. It fit perfectly on my dispenser with no hassle, and best of all—no leaks or drips! This is hands down the best upgrade for anyone dealing with flimsy plastic spigots. This is a way better replacement spigot for the, "pH Recharge Glass Alkaline Water Dispenser" from the Invigorated Water Company! I used the spigots that came with the dispenser but they didn't last that long since they were made of plastic. I have this stainless steel Oak Leaf Spigot installed and the dispenser works great! The spigot was very easy to install in minutes! The spigot is made of high quality steel that hopefully will last a very long time. I will update later if needed.

I ordered this spigot jar [[ASIN:Ba074ZGZNJX FineDine Glass Beverage Dispenser Mason Jar with Leak Proof Spigot, 1 Gallon]] which like all such jars comes with a plastic spigot which I did not want to use. There are complaints galore about them leaking anyway so I bought this Oak Leaf Beverage Dispenser Replacement Spigot at the same time. It fit in the spigot opening perfectly and looks really nice once inserted. I imagine getting it just tight enough is a bit tricky because one doesn't want to keep screwing it in to the point of cracking the glass so I stopped once tight. Perfect. The spigot is easy to use and liquid flows freely through it. I like this spigot a lot. It is a Chinese import but seems very well made and sturdy. Stainless will not rust so if I have any problems I will return and post. But for now I join with the 780 other reviewers who've given this spigot five stars. This spigot along with the FineDine Mason Jar works well together to keep me supplied with filtered, flavored water! Highly recommended.

Easy to install, seems to work great!

I did a lot of research on spigots to replace the plastic beverage spigot that came with my dispenser. This is made of solid stainless steel. It has a nice heavy weight to it and works really well. Pros: Well made, heavy weight. Dispenses beverages quickly better than the one that came with my beverage dispenser. Easy to install and easy to clean. Cons: This is only issue I had there are no assembly directions on how to put it together. I wasn't going to deduct any stars for this issue because the product is so well made. I decided to include assembly instructions to help others out with this product. Here are the directions on how to assemble: Separate all of the pieces. You will have the spigot, two metal washers, two rubber bumpers and one nut. Hand wash all parts prior to first use. Take the spigot and place one of the metal washers up against the metal spigot next push on one of the rubber bumpers. This takes a little doing but it will slide on. Put the half assembled spigot through the hole in your beverage dispenser. Now take the second rubber bumper and push it onto the spigot. Next put on the second metal washer and screw on the nut. Hand tighten this nut. Using a wrench could over tighten the nut and break your beverage dispenser. That's it, pretty quick and simple.

My review: Solid, great-looking, stainless steel spigot with top-quality silicone seals. Excellent product. My rant: ZeroWater makes wonderful, world-class dispensers and filters, then finishes off the product with the cheapest, flimsiest, leaky, plastic spigot they could find. It's like a BMW with knockoff tires that go flat every 2 weeks. (1) Buy ZeroWater dispenser (2) Throw plastic spigot in the trash (3) Order one of these
