Good Projector for the Money. Sharp colors and Bright Picture.
This projector is an excellent deal for the price. We purchased six of them to replace old 2,200 lumens projectors in use with our school smartboards. Every teacher was shocked when they saw how much brighter the new projectors are. As one reviewer said, you do lose some of the screen size when you use HDMI (since HDMI defaults to widescreen adding blank areas at the top and bottom of the image). Most of the projectors run all day in a ceiling mounted environment and we haven't had any problem with overheating. In fact, the projectors are about as close to silent as you can get with a projector. As to image quality, I'm very impressed. Obviously, it's not a HD monster (only 1024x768). But, the colors it puts out are bright and vibrant. We have no problem using the projectors with the lights on in the classrooms (100" screen size). Even with the lights on, darker shades of grey are still distinguishable from black. The remotes work well and are well laid out. No complaints there.Really, the only con that I can think of is that they are little more bulky than our previous projectors. But, they had way less brightness and were much noisier. Also, the ceiling mount studs are inset into the projector body a little. As such, our previous screws were too short to go through the mount arm and into the projector mounts. I just went over to the local hardware store and I was able to find screws that worked with the projector without too much difficulty (and they were like 6 cents a piece so...).

Don't Pay Extra for Wi-Fi Capabilities
Worked as advertised right out of the box. Paid extra for this model because it has wi-fi capability. Bought the extra wi-fi dongle for $29 and change. You have to go to Pittsburgh by the way of Erie to get the wi-fi capabilities to work. Clunky as all get out. NOT impressed. A person can show slides using wi-fi with no problem, but do not expect that you will be able to stream video to any degree of success while using wi-fi. On the flip side, while using an HDMI cable, the streaming video shows fantastically and with high resolution. High marks there. Overall, I should have purchased the comparable model (without wi-fi) and saved myself some money.

Pros and cons with this projector
So far I have only had opportunity to use this twice and I have found that it performs well. I was disappointed when it arrived as it was not packed very well and I am surprised that it survived the journey. The other problem was that it came supplied with a USA cable even though it was clear that I was buying it for use in the UK.The only real downside I have noticed so far is related to using with HDMI cable. I was particularly looking forward to using HDMI for better quality images but what I was not aware of is that the size of the screen image is much reduced when using HDMI which effectively means the projector has to be much further away to fill the screen which rather defeats the object of seeking better quality image.

Great picture. Nice features
Great picture. Nice features. USB option is great. No need to use a computer. Speakers are not the best but externals can make up for it.
