On mine the width of the holes are 1/4 (2/8's) inches wide.

Are these made of polyethylene. or something else?

They’re made of Polyurethane. Pffft. Plastic. SMH. Both PE & Polyurethane are types of plastic. That’s like asking if this table is made of oak or walnut… and someone chimes in with “It’s made of wood”. Hope they didn’t pat themselves on the back too hard with that last answer. Lol.

They do not deform when you squeeze . Good quality
