I think I've got a displaced patella and this support stabilises things until the pain goes. Covering my knee and leg with talcum powder means the support goes on easily and no pinching results. Feeling much better after 10 days of day time wear. Good value and quality and a snug fit. Review: Started off great but..... - I bought the XL that said it fitted someone with a knee of between 45 - 50cm and my knee was 47cm. When I first got it all looked good and it was tight but not too tight but after 4 - 5 days of use the neoprene around the Patella (knee) started to split and the stitching started to give. Really disappointed and have returned the product. Looks to be of good quality but seems not to be so buyer-be-ware.
