Very disappointing. It's almost identical to the GA practice exam book?! I need a refund for this

This is a solid practice test for the LEED AP BD&C exam. There are two tests in the book...the first test is the same GA mock exam as the one in the GA Mock Exam book(so definitely no need to buy BOTH mock exam books, just the BD&C). The second test in the book is the BD&C one. It is somewhat harder than the actual exam (which I passed). The answer explanations in the back are well explained!! It does ask a significant amount of refrigerant questions though...which there might have been two on the actual exam (but the heads up the book provided was appreciated). This book asks questions like: (Choose 3): A. Answer 1 B. Answer 2 C. Answer 3 D. Answer 4 E. Answer 5 While the exam asks questions like: (Choose 1): A. Answer 1, Answer 2, Answer 3 B. Answer 2, Answer 3, Answer 4 C. Answer 5, Answer 1, Answer 3 D. Answer 1, Answer 2, Answer 5

I don't know how this book is getting such great reviews. The questions really didn't help me with the actual exam (which I passed the first time). The first part of the exam, which we all know is the LEED Green Associate exam. The questions in the first part of the book are exactly alike from his other book "LEED GA Mock Exams (V4)". So, I basically bought the half of the same book I've already had. The BD+C questions are okay but the answers sometimes don't make sense. The book also contains a lot of errors towards the end. It's like they just gave up proofreading everything and sent it out. You should probably spend the extra $30.00 and buy a review question package online. Usually they have a lot more questions (around 500) and with clear and concise answers. This book just seems poorly written and not worth the money.

There are definitely greater products out there that can facilitate the reinforcement of knowledge in the LEED field. This product does not explain the reasoning for the arbitrary answers that the author states.

I have just passed LEED BD+C V4 exam. Thanks to BD+C Mock Exam. It gives a good overview and strategies to take the exam. Exam questions included in book gives a comprehensive overview and helps prepare what to expect in exam. I would recommend this book to pass the exam. Good luck

Some questions were laughably hard, such as knowing the exact date that v4 went into affect…with a list of possible answers that were days apart. Other questions were written so poorly that I had to spend 5 minutes trying to decipher what was being asked. Multiple questions had obvious errors in them (question asked you to choose 2 items, but the answer listed 3). I scored 44/100 on this practice exam, and then passed the real one. Complete waste of time, unless losing all confidence is a motivation booster for you.

If you're going to buy practice exams, use a website like gbes. I bought the mock exam book, but the questions were not that close to the actual exam.

I did this exam several years ago and recently and the exam questions have a very different feel now. The questions in this book are very outdated so don't rely on them too much.
