This doesn't operate like a traditional impact gun with constant hits. I like it. I have used it on a minivan, it will work on cars and light trucks for sure. It can be used on other things, like ball joint removal and other nuts you have clearance to reach. make sure your vehicle is running properly or battery has a good charge when using this. it is possible after using any 12.v

...actually it's exactly what the add shows/describes, it's wierd at first, spins then chatters once or twice. It did what I needed to install new wheel studs in the rear axle, which would have been very slow by hand. I LIKE IT. And I can keep it in the car/van for a wheel change.

We purchased this along with an extension chord. I read some "iffy" reviews and truly didn't know what to expect. For years I have struggled getting tires off the many vehicles we have to keep going since we live out in country and use many. I am a 70 year old woman and I have to tell you, there could be nothing easier on earth to use that this. I am thrilled beyond belief with how well this has worked. My first job with this was to remove two tires from a utility trailer where the tires have been on for at least 10 years. There was some rust but nothing major. The lug nuts came off without any problem and very quickly too. I can't remember the last time we purchased some equipment that has worked so well right off the bat and easy to use. Thank you.

It takes a while to get the hang of using this impact wrench. Even gave up on it and tried using a 3' pipe and lug wrench. Wound up stripping the lug wrench. Gave the impact wrench another chance and as long as you can get the perfectly perpendicular to the tire, a couple of good spin and impact cycles and the bolts came loose. Took all 4 tires off. By the third tire it was very easy. A couple of bolts took a few more whacks but just be patient and keep adjusting the angle of the wrench until you feel the full impact catch and you are good to go.

Did not work out of the box. I decided to try it out before I really needed it for a tire change, to make sure it worked. Good thing I tried it. I tried it once on a lug nut and I heard a motor spin internally to the tool for a few seconds then there was a bang and that was it. I pulled the trigger again and again, holding it down, but all I got was a spinning sound inside but nothing else happening outside. So I pulled the socket off the tip of the tool and saw a piece of a broken rubber o-ring sticking out and a bent metal ring about the same size as the o-ring that looks like it used to be round. I put the tool back away in its box. I processed a return and dropped it off at UPS. I’m ordering a unit made by a different company. I’m sure glad I tested it before I really needed it.

Wow, I was concerned about this item but when I got it I tried it for the first time i took a tire off my car and it worked amazing. I never regret spending my money on it. I totally recommend. It's so easy to use and the price it's reasonable,

GETUHAND Car Impact Wrench 1/2 Inch drive, automotive 12 Volt connection Impact Wrench Kit. Due to arthritis and being almost 71 years old, I needed a way to easily remove lug nuts from vehicles I own. The first unit I got just spun its motor without the anvil ever engaging the socket drive - non functional, returned for credit and requested a replacement. I went back to a 20" breaker bar and piece of pipe temporarily. The replacement arrived very fast, and at first I thought there was something amiss, but when I tested it on a lug nut, it worked. You have to be aware this functions differently than a pneumatic impact. there is no drive at all until the motor reaches top speed, then centrifugal force throws the full force into the socket drive. There is no "soft start" feature, which means you have to reinstall the lug nuts by hand a few threads to make sure they are not cross threading. The chance of cross threading the nut and lug threads is very great if you don't. Trying to test the wrench by gripping the socket by hand doesn't work, you don't get the multiple impacts and the motor stalls because the anvil doesn't disengage. This really only works on lug nuts and other large bolts. The socket doesn't turn at all until the crash engagement of the anvil inside the drive. I think it will be a useful tool once I get use to its operation and limitations. It does not take the place of 20v battery driven hand impacts with controllable speeds and force. Its designed for bolt brake-away brute force. I cant speak to longevity yet. Some over reviewers noted drive failures after a few months. If you want a tool for frequent or commercial use, you need to buy a more expensive unit. This is for infrequent use.

Excelent. Must to have patience to have proper rotations after you have a very good hammer impact. Work diferent like air pressure tools.

Very handy on road trips when tire changes need to be done
