Excellent Coffee for Everyday Drinking
I've been buying Lavazza Qualitร Oro for over a year now, and it has become my go-to coffee for everyday drinking. I enjoy trying and rotating other brands from time to time, but this is the one I always come back to and keep stocked at home. The flavor is well-balanced and consistently enjoyable without being too bitter or overly acidic. It's versatile enough to work well with different brewing methods and is a great choice whether you're having your first cup in the morning or an afternoon coffee. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality coffee at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Lavazza Qualitร Oro. It's an excellent daily coffee that has earned a permanent place in my pantry.

Way better than Espresso Barista Gran Crema and Super Crema
Those two are overhyped acrid beans that taste like battery acid. Either people love to drink battery acid or they're all just so hopelessly confused what good coffee should be. The Barista Espresso especially are hands down the nastiest beans I ever tried, and I thought I tried some truly terrible ones... I liked the flavor of Cream E Aroma but I felt it was too strong as I drink coffee every 2-3 hrs so I wanted something a bit less intense. This tastes better and I can drink more of it without feeling like I urgently need to run... somewhere. This Oro makes the coffee fragrant, flavorful and aromatic as in my understanding coffee should be. Even though my bag was roasted 6 months ago I'd never tell. Makes delicious lattes. These are the perfect beans.

Qualita Oro is a bright coffee. Blend w Perfetto to balance, for espresso style brewing.
If you like bright refreshing coffee, the Qualita Oro is for you, but with a caveat if you brew espresso style. I was looking for a light/medium roast coffee that might still have a little of its origin flavor.( **) When I saw the description for floral and fruity in a light/medium roast, I could not resist. When I opened the packageโฆand pay attention here, because the nose really knows, the Qualita Oro had a full rich aroma, without harshness that bites your nose (astringency) and without smokey aroma that you can almost taste (burned). The beans were the color of milk chocolate, and had a slightly scraggly rough surface with a little bit of striations. Based on that, I think this roast is City+ (**). When I brewed this coffee espresso style, which tends to accentuate brightness in coffee, I found it had a little too much brightness. This is where blending came to the rescue! Based on the excellent description of the Oro coffee, I guessed it might need to be balanced out by a darker roasted coffee with a neutral flavor. For that I chose the Perfetto espresso coffee because it was described as having โchocolateโ flavor, but not other flavors or spices. Based on the excellent description of the Perfetto, it sounded like an ideal base for blending with the Oro. I mixed the two (Qualita Oro, Perfetto) in equal parts, brewed espresso style and it was amazing. The super thirst-quenching brightness was balanced with a delicious light chocolate midtone free of any smokey flavor. It was amazing how these two coffees in a 50/50 blend complemented each other to make the blend better than the sum of its parts. This is just one experiment based on my tastes and on brewing espresso style. The ratios will be different based on the brewing method and fineness of grind. I highly recommend blending Qualita Oro + Perfetto in 1:1 ratio for espresso style brewing. ** ROAST v ORIGIN โโโโโโโ- Just a final note on coffee roast style vs origin flavor. They do not refer to the same thing! Most common misconception is that French roast is a flavor. It is not! It refers to the degree of roasting. Roast styles, or degree of roasting, range from super light โCinnamon,โ to the first pyrolysis crack during roasting called โCity,โ to the second pyrolysis crack during roasting called โFull City,โ and beyond where shiny oil is clearly on the bean surface called โVienna,โ to even darker shiny oily beans with little divots breaking off the bean surfaces and all origin flavor obliterated by the roast called โFrench,โ and then to nearly charcoaled beans with only the roast flavor of burn called โItalian.โ Origin flavors emanate from the bean itself, a result of where it is grown (latitude and longitude, terroir) and how it is processed (wet or dry). Flavors such as blueberry of a Harrar coffee, spice of a Columbian coffee, peanut of a Brazilian coffee, refreshing brightness and full body of a Guatemalan coffee, and perfect balance of a Panama coffee, should all be detectable with the right degree of roast, probably no more than Full City+.

Good quality, but......
I buy only lavazza beans due to the freshness and consistency. I buy four different types of beans. This is the 100% Arabica. I'm very into coffee, but I don't really see the difference between this and other beans( I.E. Super Crema,Rossa,ECT) I get good crema with all at a 13 grind/12 gram. Reason I'm posting this is ,I just serviced and cleaned both my machines and the taste is delicious but I don't see a big noticeable difference. Therefore I will continue to buy Lavazza Rossa or Super Crema. Reason ; much better price and I guess my palate is a simple one. Again ,I highly recommend Lavazza due to the consistency of quality.

Super smooth flavor for my Moka Pot
Best Lavazza product Iโve purchased to date. Super smooth taste. Also seems to have a lower acid profile as i no longer get acid reflux from coffee.

Easy to drink; but, NOT a "FIRST RATE" coffee.
The coffee has a nice, comfortable flavor. . "Easy" to drink; and, not bitter. . But, the flavor is definitely "mild; just above a "bland." However, it is NOT a "premium" coffee. .Neither is it a "fresh" bean. . .The beans are somewhat dry; and, NOT fresh. . Not worth returning; but, I doubt if I will buy it again because I prefer a "stronger flavor." It IS definitely aq matter of personal taste. . .Thus, I give it 4-stars. . But, will probably NOT purchase it again.

Love These Beans
OK, so I'm not here to say I've tried 1000 different types of coffee beans. In fact, I'm fairly new to coffee and love the opportunity to try something new whenever I can. A while back my wife got me a bean grinder and French press, I think mainly because SHE liked coffee and it was an excuse to get herself a Christmas present while pretending it was actually for me. I liked both and they make for some better tasting coffee. Long story short, we kept trying different types of beans until I came across these at a grocery store. I tend to like "Italian styles" of things and decided to give these a try. I'd tried some Lavazza stuff already with my Keurig so I figured they'd at least be decent. Well, they're the best beans I've ever tried. My wife was reluctant to get them because they were more expensive than others and a larger bag than others we were buying to try, but they're her favourite as well. I've been ordering them from Amazon.ca since then because Amazon tends to be cheaper than the grocery stores by a few dollars, and I always make sure I order enough to get free shipping anyhow.

Smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious
This Lavazza Qualitร Oro whole bean coffee is amazing. The flavour is smooth, rich, and very enjoyable without being too harsh or overly bitter. It has that nice balanced taste that feels refined and easy to drink, whether you are having it in the morning or throughout the day. What I really like most is how smooth and creamy it comes out. It has a very pleasant texture and a nice aroma, and it feels a little more premium than an everyday basic coffee. The medium roast gives it a good balance where it still has flavour and depth but stays smooth and not too heavy. As whole beans, it is also great because you can grind it to your preference depending on how you make your coffee. It works especially well for espresso-style drinks, and the result is a rich, satisfying cup with a nice crema and a clean finish. Overall, this is a really good coffee if you want something smooth, creamy, aromatic, and easy to enjoy every day. Definitely one I would buy again.
