I've been a fan of McQueen since I was in sophomore high (12 years ago) and when I tell you I fell in love with his works with just blurred runway pictures printed on a torn page of a magazine? Girl, that's love at first sight. Then I researched about him (even had a class report about him regarding a person we adore so much. It was serious for me, girl) and was saddened upon learning of his recent passing. I guess the passion and talent shown through his works opened up the fashion world to me so it's been a dream to have a dedicated book about him since then. Now that I'm working (day job, totally not fashion related) and earning extra that I can afford this book, I'm just so so excited to explore his world and legacy further. So I'm going to ignore the fact that there's damage to the spine because it wasn't packed carefully, just with thin plastic, put in the box right away, and call it a day. Well, they say that Love is blind.

My 20 year old son and I have a slight obsession with Alexander Mc Queen ... led to much documentary watching and book purchasing...this book hasn't failed to deliver. An absolute stunning visual delight and photos that up to now have lain hidden from the public eye. The man is a genius... Nuff said, just buy the book, it's a coffee table exclamation mark! Love It!
