Coleman 2000007483 MadDog GearAll Weather Protection ATV Cover

For starters, it has lasted 5-1/2 years. That's more than I can say for some covers I have used. This cover has been outdoors in Texas the entire time. Most of its life has been under a tree where it gets some sun and some shade. Today I noticed a tear, but the material is good about not continuing to tear. The original black color is now gray. The elastic is still stretchy. It is used to cover a 2000 Honda Rancher 350 and fits well. It's not a tailored fit, obviously, but it does fit well. The cover gets removed about a dozen times each year. It holds water for days after rain, so it appears to still be waterproof. Outstanding performance overall, and in a few more years when this one is finally done I will not hesitate to order another.

I really like this cover. I was using a tarp and bungee cords until it arrived. It covers my King Quad 750 almost to the bottom of the wheels with a mirror on the front and a box/trunk on the back. It's really easy to put on and the elastic cord is strong but not too strong to put on. The elastic feels like it's about 3/8" bungee. It is packaged in a Coleman box with the Mad Dog name on the box also which is a Coleman brand name. The Mad Dog label is on the front of the cover. Another reviewer was correct in that there is no pouch as described and no hooks on the bottom. But hooks are not needed with the great elastic arrangement and would just be in the way and of no use anyway. As for the "heat resistant material sewn under cover as partial liner" I haven't examined it yet, but I do know the underside has a different surface than the topside. Whether it's a separate liner or not I haven't yet determined. One thing I did notice is that when it rains there's water between the cover and the top of the box/trunk but the rest of the ATV is dry. Perhaps the "water resistant" statement (on the box I think) isn't really true where the cover is in contact with something underneath. In any case, I don't really care about the water as I mainly want protection from the tropical sun where I live. Again, with the elastic around the bottom of the cover makes it really easy to put on and it's on securely and isn't going anywhere. I really like the fact that it protects my tires from the sun. If/when this cover gets destroyed by the sun I'm definitely getting another one. Beats a tarp and bungee cord by a mile. Update 12/10/2014 - I checked the cover's underside and in fact it does NOT appear to have a "sewn in" piece of material for heat protection. The underside does have some kind of coating that is probably the "rain resistant" part.

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is two reasons.1. Nobody believes 5 star reviews are real 2. I just bought it and can not speak on durability. I bought this for my 2018 Polaris 570 utility edition. It fits with room to spare as you can see from the pictures. Material feels thick and seems to be well mad. I live in Alabama so now you'll know the weather it will be facing hot humid and tornadoes. It hasn't rain since I bought it so only time will tell. I'll update once it dose.

(I like this cover so much, I'm writing the review within an hour of putting it on my wheeler.) After reading the positive reviews, I bought this for my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 Twin. I have the winch on the front, with no additional gear other than front and rear factory racks. This cover fits the whole thing with NO stretching at all. It goes the whole way down around all four tires completely. Living here in Alaska with so much sunlight in the summer, it's really important to protect the tires from UV rays. Considering the relatively low price, I found this to be a MUCH better cover than I expected. The seams are stitched well, the material is fairly thick, and even the bag is built well. The elastic along the bottom was fairly strong, and keeps a good grip around the whole thing. Sure, it's not a trailer-able cover, but by the time I'm done riding in an Alaska muskeg, covering the wheeler for the trip home is just plain stupid! Being a Coleman product is also a big plus. As a scout leader I own a lot of Coleman gear, and anytime there is a problem their customer service has always been very good and fair. Go ahead and buy this with confidence...it's a great deal!

This is a high quality cover for the price! I had been using the Airhead covers that were cheaper in price, but now they cost more @$34 so I decided to try these. What a pleasant surprise when they arrived! They were made of much thicker and more durable material than the airhead covers! I read some reviews saying that these covers were not waterproof; The ones I got were! They are about six months old now and still have puddles of water on top of them after a rain, and my machine is dry underneath. The fabric is a nice tight weave so if they do eventually start letting a little water soak through; I would think you could refresh them with a spray of silicone water repellant. Also these are good size covers. They cover my 700 Polaris sportsman with room to spare; hence the puddles of water on top of the cover after the rain. So far I am very happy with this purchase!

Ordered 2 of these. One for my 2004 sportsman 500 with a front LED bar and winch. The cover installed over the ATV all the way to the ground for a complete cover... The other cover is for my 1995 sportsman 400. This sportsman 400 has a front mounted winch, and a rear seat and cargo box. Even with the cargo box the cover fits over the ATV, and all the way to the ground for complete coverage. I was worried about the cargo box causing issues but these covers are great. They are mad of a thick durable waterproof material and a strong bunge bottom to keep it snug.

Wasn't sure what to expect when first ordering but once I opened it and got it on the quad I was very pleased. The material appears to be much more durable than my previous cover I got from Canadian Tire at three times the price and only lasted two years. Also I have a polaris sportsman 570 with the extra seat on storage mounted on the back and this cover still reached right to the ground all around the entire machine.

Excelente protector de la marca coleman en verdad me gusto mucho de muy buen material y bien resistente al principio estaba indeciso pues no sabia con exactitud las medidas y lo queria para una cuatrimoto con caja ( yamaha grizly 800), para mi suerte y basandome tambien en resenas de amazon usa quedo a la perfeccion. A pesar de no tener para elejir talla (como otras marcas) la talla unica de esta marca y esta linea (maddog) es la mas grande equivalente a XL pues quedo muy bien y para muestra mejor dejo un pequeno video y unas fotos, un saludo y espero la resena te sea de utilidad abrazo.grande.

Muy buen cobertor, quedó exacto a la medida y eso que mi moto tiene un asiento muy grande en la parte de atrás. No dice Coleman, pero eso es lo de menos. dice MadDog. El material es de excelente calidad y es resistente al agua. Recomendable por su calidad y medidas para motos medianas a grandes.

The cover fit perfectly over my king quad 750 even with a one up seat on it! Looks good and seams to be pretty good quality. I’ll update to say how it held up to our Canadian winter

Good cover but very large. Too large for my small Italika ATV. would fit better on larger ATV’s like Polaris, Can-Am, and Yamaha. Buena cobertura pero muy grande. Demasiado grande para mi pequeño Italika ATV. cabría mejor en ATV más grandes como Polaris, Can-Am, y Yamaha.
