Donated to a a hospital and they love it and are grateful. The sutures meet their needs at the hospital.

Box arrived without issues and is in sealed condition. Purchased as an emergency farm supply; we hope we never need to use it. :) However, if we do, I will update my review on how it performs. We selected this packet because it contains a wide selecting of gauges and materials, including some dissolvable ones, making this the perfect go to box in an urgent situation, no fumbling around looking for the right stitching, just grab and go.

These have been great and I find them easy to work with. There is enough product here to get a grip on what you are doing and become fairly proficient. Practice always makes better but I do like them. I am a cabinet maker and wilderness survival guy not a physician so I will not rate these on professional quality because I do not know but they work for my purposes well.

Practicing sutures and this kit was a great addition to the sutures we were given. It was interesting to see/feel the difference between nylon mono, nylon braided, silk, and gut; as well as the variety of sizes. 2/0 anything tends to tare up a suture pad, so save those for when you're finished just to see what they're like. Also, 5/0 can be delicate and easy to break, it was good practice to get a feel for all of the different sizes/materials both in terms of how the sutures lay and tying knots. The gut sutures come inside a little pouch of alcohol just fyi.
