RKBV3O Double Union PVC Ball Valve Slip/Weld, 3"

This is a very heavy duty valve that appears well constructed and I trust will have a long life.

Sheesh, this thing is THICC! It definitely has some weight and is super robust. Worth the price? Eh...I think it's expensive still, but it's a beast for sure.

good valve, could have been so much better for 0 extra cost to manufacture two issue easily fixed 1) This valve is almost 3 inches, it's silly because the inside ball is 3 inches ID, but the flanges are 2-15/16, it easily can be machined out to a full 3 inches, but i shouldn't have to do that. 2) the valve won't open fully, the ball stops traveling just short of full open presenting a ledge agains the flowing surface, again easy fix, remove the handle by pulling firmly on it, cut the plastic nice and square at the handle stops on the main body, then it will work properly. both these issues could have been easily fixed by modifying the mold that casts the respective parts.

Easy to turn valve, sturdy. I really like it. Good price also. Would definitely buy again.

Only a limited return window... $71 and now I am stuck with a part I do not need. But at a local store for more flexibility.

I have not bought one of these, but every single PVC ball valve I've installed over 2" has eventually failed. At least with this one, you could replace it assuming you can move one side of the pipe.

Dropped this valve between 2, 3000 gallon waste water storage tanks for a commercial laundry facility to allow us to drain one and maintain fluids in the other. Super easy set up with the double union fitting. No leaks as of yet, seals great.
